(More customer reviews)I was originally purchasing this at Petfood Express in San Francisco. Then I saw it was cheaper at Amazon and started buying from there. The food that came from Amazon was lighter in color and had more dusty/small particles of food throughout. The food is currently back-ordered at Amazon. So I purchased it from the store again, and noticed the difference again.
Has anyone else noticed the product varies depending on where it is purchased?

(More customer reviews)I have been feeding my chihuahua puppy blue buffalo since I got her but always used the puppy version in the pink bag. She loves it! My ragdoll cats even eat it. She loves duck treats so I thought she would like this wilderness duck version and she won't eat it. The cats won't either. I'll stick with the Blue Buffalo puppy brand.

(More customer reviews)I have a finicky Burmese cat that won't eat dry food, so I give him this food. My brat loves this food!!!! His coat looks shiny and healthy and he doesn't shed as much. If you love your babies as much as I do mine, then give them the best on the market. It's spendy but worth it. :-)

(More customer reviews)Nature's Variety Canned Cat Food, Homestyle from Prairie, Beef and Liver Stew has chunks of meat, also some vegetables, with a lot of gravy. I like this food for my cats because the chunks of meat seem to keep them regular and also provides liquid in the form of gravy which is good for their urinary tract. In addition I put about a tablespoon or more water into my cats' cat food to make sure they get enough water, in case they don't drink from their water bowls. And my cats love the food.

(More customer reviews)I bought this after seeing recommendations from people whose cats had digestive problems. My maine coon had the same problem and being long hair her soft stool issue wasn't pretty. Within days of feeding her this food wet and dry her problem stopped. Her poo does smell terrible but it's been like that with every good quality food she's had. In all I highly recommend this food to anyone who has a cat with digestion, loose stool issues.

(More customer reviews)Just Fyi, the title says Turkey but the photo of the can says chicken. I thought I was ordering Turkey (my amazon receipt said Turkey) but I rec'd chicken. I have an early-CRF kitty and was specifically looking for the Turkey for the lower Sodium level. I Just want to make other CRF cat owners aware :-) NOTE: The chicken IS lower in Phos, so that's good. At least it will get used as part of kitty's meal rotation.

(More customer reviews)Our dog always had weepy eyes, and the veterinary opthamologist suggested that it was possible she was allergic to her food.
I tried this food because the ingredients were completely different than the food we had been giving her (Eukanuba). Her weepy eyes dried up for the first time, ever. It smells rather fishy, so I tried the venison one, and the weeping started again. So back to the "fish food", and no more weepy eyes. To limit the fishy smell, I just make sure to close up the bag tightly so it is limited to what I put in her bowl - which she finishes quickly! ;)
I made the mistake once before (but not this time!) of switching our dog's food abruptly, and my advice to you is that if you decide to switch your dog's food, phase it in slowly over a week, because otherwise you may be dealing with a case of doggy diarhea - yuck! - take it from someone who knows! (I was told better, but I did it because I was nearly out of the original food & didn't want to buy more of it. In hindsight, it would have been worth the price of a 30 pound bag to avoid what our dog & I went through!)

"The foulest stench is in the air

But, this review is about my kitty's reaction, not mine. The directions on the bag suggest mixing the new food with familiar food for a while, so that your pet's digestive system can get used to the new stuff. A slave to Pete, my cat, I willingly obliged. He couldn't be happier! He's on his 3rd bag of the Canyon River; he's been eating it straight for a while.
Being a (mostly) Russian Blue cat, Pete has always been super soft. Imagine my surprise when his coat became even silkier! While the food stinks, my kitty's breath does not. Maybe because I weaned him off of his old brand? Who knows. Now, here's the very best part: my cat poops less frequently! Hooray! Because of the wildly mixed reviews on this product in the larger size, I would recommend buying this smaller bag before committing to the larger one.

Nutro Ultra Puppy Dry Dog Food Review

My dogs are seniors but they prefer the puppy recipe to the senior recipe. The puppy one is loaded with protein and nutrients which make their coats shine. They love the food, and are in great health, spirits and have boundless energy.

My dog loves it. She also loves the duck flavor. However it is more expensive. My dog has been eating this canned food for over 6 months now and I am very pleased with the product.

Go Natural Chicken, Fruit & Vegetable Cat Food Review

(More customer reviews)I had my male cat on this food awhile back and he not only liked it, he seemed to do very well on it. I have tried everything from Acana, Wellness, Wellness Core, Innova, and a bunch of other cat foods and my cats did not do well on them. In researching cat foods, I discovered wet food is ideal and that carbs are bad, as they can cause diabetes, UTI, etc. My male cat has had 2 UTI's on other high carb foods. So now I've been trying grain free foods and making one of their meals canned food each day. But it is too costly to feed 3 cats only canned every day, so I want to split half dry half wet. I am torn between buying this food, which my cat did well on, or trying the grain free, which I don't know how they will do on. I was tempted to try EVO, but now I think it may actually be too high in protein. So I'm going to buy either this one or the grain free Go Natural cat food today. I'll probably try the grain free.

Only downside is that I found some really sharp, hard pieces in the bag that I felt may choke some cats or small dogs.

Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Fish Formula Dog Treats Review

(More customer reviews)I have an eight year old corgi who is my security system and my baby. He has had allergies all of his life, but recently they had gotten worse, with him having open sores on his underbelly, and bloodshot eyes, despite bi-weekly baths and benadryl. In an attempt to help his allergies I put him on these treats and the corresponding kibble. Six weeks later, his eyes are clear, he has stopped scratching, and his skin is much less red.
However, this dog food did something else, something that is amazing. Corgis are very prone to arthritis and hip problems. My corgi had also developed what looked like fairly advanced arthritis in all four legs, with a limp that seemed to move from hip to hip, depending on the weather. Aside from an occasional limp on one paw damaged by rolling his entire body weight over one shoulder from three feet in the air in a bad frisbee catch, his gait is entirely normal. I never thought I would see him move like this again. Amazing stuff.
