(More customer reviews)We call this kitty crack because we can literally get our cats to do anything for it. If they won't come in at night, we shake the bottle and they come running. They jump up on the chair and sit up for a small piece. It is nice to have some kind of control over this uncontrollable species!

(More customer reviews)I have a finicky Burmese cat that won't eat dry food, so I give him this food. My brat loves this food!!!! His coat looks shiny and healthy and he doesn't shed as much. If you love your babies as much as I do mine, then give them the best on the market. It's spendy but worth it. :-)

(More customer reviews)Nature's Variety Canned Cat Food, Homestyle from Prairie, Beef and Liver Stew has chunks of meat, also some vegetables, with a lot of gravy. I like this food for my cats because the chunks of meat seem to keep them regular and also provides liquid in the form of gravy which is good for their urinary tract. In addition I put about a tablespoon or more water into my cats' cat food to make sure they get enough water, in case they don't drink from their water bowls. And my cats love the food.

(More customer reviews)Just Fyi, the title says Turkey but the photo of the can says chicken. I thought I was ordering Turkey (my amazon receipt said Turkey) but I rec'd chicken. I have an early-CRF kitty and was specifically looking for the Turkey for the lower Sodium level. I Just want to make other CRF cat owners aware :-) NOTE: The chicken IS lower in Phos, so that's good. At least it will get used as part of kitty's meal rotation.

Weruva Cat Food Review

(More customer reviews)I got this for my long hair male cat who has been prescribed wet food by the vet after having urinary tract problems. I read about Weruva and that the Paw Lickin' Chicken would be good for him and keep his urine pH at levels to prevent struvite crystals, just like the vet prescribed food. The Paw Lickin' Chicken has a lot of water and low magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium. But unlike the veterinarian recommended food, it has no byproducts or fillers or grains. Weruva actually looks like food, not gruel, and it doesn't have an unpleasant smell like a lot of cat foods. Weruva costs almost as much as the vet prescribed brand, but Weruva is clearly made with superior ingredients. I will still be monitoring my cat for any problems, but so far this food is working fine for him and I feel better knowing he is on a better quality food.
At first my cat was hesitant to eat the Weruva food, but I believe that was simply because he wasn't used to the texture. The Weruva chicken is shredded into fine strips, rather than minced. My cat would drink the juices, as he had no problem with the flavor, but was reluctant to actually eat the chicken. So I had to mix it with the prescription food he had been eating before he would eat the Weruva food by itself. It is a good idea to mix the food with what your cat has been eating, anyway, so they can gradually get used to it. Now my cat doesn't hesitate and will eagerly eat the Weruva food.

(More customer reviews)In the past few months, I have upgraded all the dry and canned food that my 4 cats eat (they used to eat Science Diet). This was the 1st high quality canned food I tried for them and they all love it! I have 2 seniors (aged 15) and 2 adults (aged 4) and they jump up and pat me when I'm opening the Merrick. I would recommend this great cat food to all cat owners. Take a look at the labels - it's all real food product you can identify and it's made by a family owned business with great quality control. This company loves pets too!

Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken Canned Cat Food Review

(More customer reviews)I adopted Layla as an older cat (~7yrs), and she had chronic diarrhea and was underweight, but also a finicky eater. My vet prescribed special IBS canned food, which Layla hated with a passion, so in an effort to coax her to eat, I would let her eat cheap gravy food (the only food she kind of liked) along with shredded chicken I would cook. This was either hit or miss with her, and I frequently ended up wasting food because she either flat-out refused to eat it or wouldn't eat all of it. Even with frequent vet visits and medicine, Layla proceeded to get sicker with her IBS, and out of desperation, I ordered the Paw Lickin' Chicken along with some other flavors. Layla absolutely adores it!!!! It looks and smells like human food, and is clearly high quality (it looks exactly like the picture). The other cheaper food would sometimes make me gag at its consistency and the poor quality of the meat, but Weruva is wonderful! It is high in water content, so I know Layla is staying hydrated, and it's also so easy to wash out of the bowl, unlike gravy food or pate. The other thing I've noticed is that Layla doesn't need as much food to stay satiated. She eats about three 3.0 ounce cans a day, and has no problem with grazing on them throughout the day, which she wouldn't do with the other food.
Economically speaking, yes, Weruva is a more expensive food ounce for ounce, but the money I save on waste actually makes Weruva cheaper for me. Plus, when you compare the price to the quality of the food you receive, Weruva is a far better purchase than the more popular high-end cat food (which cost the same). However, the most important point is that I now have a very happy cat without IBS symptoms, who is finally gaining weight, and this is priceless to me =).

Whole Life Pure Chicken Pet Dog and Cat Treats Review

(More customer reviews)I have a sickly cat who needs to be coaxed into eating. Crushing these on top of his canned food stimulates his appetite and encourages him to finish his food. Only downside is that I found some really sharp, hard pieces in the bag that I felt may choke some cats or small dogs.
