Beggin' Strips Dog Snacks Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Dog Loves 'em, what else is there to say? The resealable bag keeps the product fresh. We break up the Beggin Strips into smaller pieces and hide them around the house as the dog (Standard Poodle) seems to love the challenge of the hunt.
We pretty much limit the dog to only 2 of these a day so as to reduce spoiling her and any adverse health risks.
Great product as we have used these for years.

Bil-Jac Premium Liver Treats for Dogs Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)My dogs love these treats, and I do buy them occasionally because they are cheap and perched at the check-out counter of our local garden/feed store. But check out the ingredient list-- I don't think anyone can feel good about feeding their dog high-fructose corn syrup! Just not the healthiest option-- when so many of our dogs are overweight, it seems better to feed them a real liver treat, versus this product which is "made with liver".
My dogs absolutely love Pro-Treat Beef Liver, Freeze Dried 14 Ounce (the larger size packages are more economical). I just feel a lot better about feeding real freeze-dried liver that doesn't have all the extra junk in Bil-Jac liver treats.
Specifically, these treats have chicken "by-products"-- that means liquid slaughterhouse run-off and other non-human grade leftovers from the slaughterhouse. UGH! Bil-Jac also includes three preservatives, glycerin (?!), and the corn syrup.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's the ingredient list for Bil-Jac liver treats, so you can make your own decision:
Liver, Chicken By-Products, Chicken By-Product Meal, Corn, Chicken Fat, Glycerin, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Propylene Glycol, Wheat Flour, Phosphoric Acid, Salt, Sodium Propionate and Potassium Sorbate and BHA and Citric Acid (Preservatives), Iron Oxide.
Primal Dry Roasted Chicken Shredders Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)These must be really delicious because my 11 month old puppy goes crazy for them. More than once, I left a piece in my jacket pocket by accident and found my dog chewing the pocket to get to them. They seem natural - the only ingredient listed is "Chicken Breast".
I use them for training and they are very effective. I only wish they were sliced a bit thinner before they were roasted because they are really difficult to break up into smaller pieces.
The first bag was a gift from a friend, but we will get them again.
Blue Buffalo Health Bars for Dogs, Bacon, Egg and Cheese, 16-Ounce Bag Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I have a difficult time finding BLUE products in our area. And when I do they frequently don't have exactly what I am looking for.
So I was thrilled to find Amazon had several products available.
How disappointing to receive the product and find that it was several months past the date stamped on the packaging. As a longtime Amazon shopper I was surprised...I have come to expect great delivery and quality product. I won't order the blue again from this source.
Fresh Is Best Freeze-Dried Raw Whole Chicken Heart Treats for Dogs and Cats Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I was skeptical at first, but my "wolfie" has been on a raw diet for a while, so this seemed like a good companion snack. Surprisingly, "dried" doesn't always mean lack of moisture, as these are some juicy morsels that keep my pet performing tricks for treats until I give out. Each one is a generous portion, even for my baby who's a pretty big boy, so I always slice them before feeding. It's also great to aid those sometimes finicky eaters, as an occasional sliced topper for meals. The package may seem small, but a little goes a long way.
Feline Greenies 3 oz. Package Salmon Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I really wish Amazon would list ingredients for the food products they sell, whether it's for human or animal consumption. For some reason I assumed Greenies were natural and it's completely my fault for not looking for the ingredients on another site before buying, but yeah... these are corn-based and thus not very different from the junk you can get in the supermarket. Oh, except these cost more. So why should I buy them?? Sure my cat likes them but she seems to like 95% of the treats I give her, plus simply liking them doesn't make them good/healthy for her - much like inhaling a box of Cheez-Its is deliciously naughty for me.
Here's the list of ingredients in the salmon Greenies for anyone who cares:
Chicken Meal, Ground Brewers Rice, Ground Wheat, Corn Gluten Meal, Poultry Fat (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Sprayed Dried Hydrolyzed Chicken Protein Concentrate, Oat Fiber, Salmon Meal, Natural Chicken Flavor, Vegetable Oil (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Natural Poultry and Fish Flavor, Sodium Gluconate, Brewer's Dried Yeast, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Glucono-delta-lactone, Citric Acid, Choline Chloride, Taurine, Vitamins: [Vitamin A Supplement, D-Activated Animal Sterol (Source of Vitamin D3 Supplement), dl-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate (Source of Vitamin E), Niacin Supplement, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (Source of Vitamin K Activity), Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement], Minerals: [Zinc Proteinate; Copper Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Iron Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Carbonate, Ethylenediamine Dihydriodide], Mixed Tocopherols, Rosemary Extract, DL Methionine, Chlorophyll.
Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish Formula Dog Treats, 8-Ounce Bag Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)These little treats are perfect for smaller dogs, especially if they have any food allergies or weight issues. They are simply sweet potatoes and fish, very crunchy, and work well as stuffers for Hartz Lil' Devil rubber toys or Kongs for smaller dogs.
Charlee Bear Dog Treats 16Oz Zip Pack Liver Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I bought these because they are low calorie, so I can stuff a bunch into Poodle's treat puzzles without feeling guilty. He LOVES the cheese flavor (the only one I have tried so far). He stays quiet when being groomed if given liberal amounts of them. Great amount in the bag for the price too. According to their page on FaceBook, they are only 3 calories per treat. In the video you can see Poodle getting treats out of a bottle, it is a mix of kibble, some Costless Pet Treats Duck Breast Fillets, 32-Ounce and Charlee Bear Cheese and Egg treats. You can see that the treats fit whole into the opening of the bottle, so they are not all that big. This is a fun way to get him some mental exercise and I watch him so he doesn't chew up the bottle.
VitaLife Plus Active PrePro Biscuits for Tartar & Fresh Breath Control 24oz Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)These treats came today and I was pleasantly surprised at the heft of the bag. There are a bunch of treats in here! I opened the bag and was immediately greeted by the pleasant minty smell. I gave my dog three which he scarfed down. About ten minutes afterwards my husband decided to do a "breath check" on our poodle. After opening our dogs mouth and taking a whiff he said, and I quote, "There is a considerable improvement." I plan to give these to him daily and with a bag this size, it will last me several months. It's win-win, my dog gets a tasty treat and now I won't have to start brushing his teeth for him. :)
Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison Dog Treats, 14-Ounce Bag Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I normally like the Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Venison or Sweet Potato and Bison. But this 14oz bag came busted up and the treats are a bigger size than the size in a smaller bag. The treats were really brittle and broke easily. I wouldn't buy this one any more but will buy the smaller ones in a store.
Addiction All-Natural Grain-Free Meaty Bites Dog Treats, Wild New Zealand Brushtail, 12 Ounce Pouch Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)My dogs loved the product (and they're extremely picky Shibas); also we felt we were being slightly more environmentally responsible / "green" by choosing to use an animal that is already doing considerable environmental damage to New Zealand. Will definitely purchase again!
SnawSomes Snacks for Dogs Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Snawsomes Beef & Cheese Flavor Dog TreatsWe have an eight year old dachshund and he is really spoiled. For years I have broken a 2 inch piece off and turned it into small pieces. He has a KONG Ball and I put the pieces in it. He likes to push it across the floor with his nose. I'm sure he would like a longer piece, but we have him on a diet.
I don't seem to be able to find this product at the store any more. I was thrilled to find it on the Amazon web site.
robbie dawg Organic Dog Biscuits Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Our dogs love these peanut butter carrot trests. They are small and easy to break apart and chew. They work great as training treats. We have purchased Robbie Dawg treats in the reusable jars (cute gifts!) and reusable tins (these are great too for travel). This version of the product came in a box with a sealed inner plastic bag. Which is fine except the inner plastic sealed bag on the last two boxes we have purchases comes ripped open. All the treats fall out in the bottom of the box. I ended up transferring them to another container.
They do not contain wheat or any animal by-products. Very healthy dog treats and our dogs seem to love them!!
Old West Moo Moo Q's Dog Treats, 8-Ounce Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I was thrilled with Old West's Lamb based Baa Baa-Q's, so I had to give this cheaper Beef version a try. my CATs - that's right, cats now love both Lamb & Beef treats (cats may require a bit of training to eat beef and lamb, so be patient) which is safe for them because it crumbles and melts, unlike most dog treats that can splinter and hurt your cat. Stop giving your cat glorified high carb overpriced kibble treats, and give these natural dehydrated meat guts a try.
Fromm Four-Star Liver Low-Fat Dog Treats Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)These are incredibly small, about the size of a nickel. My dogs barely tasted them as they ate them, and I found myself having to give them a handful at a time for them to be meaningful. If you have small dogs perhpas these will work, but my Rotties quickly became bored.
