(More customer reviews)Our dog always had weepy eyes, and the veterinary opthamologist suggested that it was possible she was allergic to her food.
I tried this food because the ingredients were completely different than the food we had been giving her (Eukanuba). Her weepy eyes dried up for the first time, ever. It smells rather fishy, so I tried the venison one, and the weeping started again. So back to the "fish food", and no more weepy eyes. To limit the fishy smell, I just make sure to close up the bag tightly so it is limited to what I put in her bowl - which she finishes quickly! ;)
I made the mistake once before (but not this time!) of switching our dog's food abruptly, and my advice to you is that if you decide to switch your dog's food, phase it in slowly over a week, because otherwise you may be dealing with a case of doggy diarhea - yuck! - take it from someone who knows! (I was told better, but I did it because I was nearly out of the original food & didn't want to buy more of it. In hindsight, it would have been worth the price of a 30 pound bag to avoid what our dog & I went through!)

Taste of the Wild Wetlands Grain-Free Canned Dog Food (12/13.2oz cans) Review

(More customer reviews)Amazon's photo and main heading both describe TOTW Wetlands (duck quail, turkey), but the written description further down the page is for a different TOTW canned food - High Prairie (bison, lamb, venison).
Since the 1-star reviewer said they received the High Prairie bison/lamb/venison instead of the Wetlands duck/quail/turkey, I wasn't sure which 'flavor' Amazon would ship. They shipped Wetlands as shown in the photo and main heading at the top of the page.
The Wetlands formula is crammed with nicely sized meaty chunks from bottom to top of can with a tiny amount of gravy coating the chunks. I mix 1/4 can of this with TOTW dry dog food and feed to my 5 month old puppy. She loves this food and scarfs down all 3 of her daily feedings.
Highly recommend this quality dog food.

Adult Dry Dog Food Large Bite - 30 lb - Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I started giving both my dogs Innova dog food about a month ago slowly mixing it in with thier old dog food. My 2.5 year old border collie mix has had problems with food allergies since he was about a year old. He would chew and lick his paws till they were raw and developed a rash on his stomach and in one of his 'armpits' that would not go away after trying a couple different kinds of food and numerous topical treatments. After giving him Innova for just a month the rash on his stomach is nearly gone and he chews on his feet significantly less, and I suspect it will improve even more after he is no longer recieving any of the other kind of food.
It has also helped my 10 month old doberman mix with decreasing the amount of food I have to give him and the amount of poo as a result too. He also seems to have less digestive upset and diarrhea.
I did a lot of research to find the best dog food that I could get locally and that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg every time I buy a bag (although I only gave it four stars because the price is a little high, but not unmanageable). Innova has quality ingredients with lots of meat and veggies and no filler, which makes me and my dogs very happy.
