EUKANUBA CUSTOM CARE SENSITIVE STOMACH 30 LB BG Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Finally this dog food is again available. The bad part is the increased price. I paid way too much for this food, but my dog needed it. I was paying $50 for 50#'s and this was $75 for 30#. I think the price was a matter of supply and demand.

Wellness Dry Cat Food for Adult Cats, Indoor Health Formula, 11.5 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When we adopted our cat, she had spent 9 months in a cage at the humane society. She was scrawny, cranky, and not happy. We went to an all natural pet store, and the woman suggested this type of food. At that store, we paid nearly $30 for a small bag that lasted maybe a month or two.
But, this food was like a miricle! Our cat perked up, started playing, was curious and happy. Her coat was shining. She was like a new cat.
Something else awesome? Her poop doesn't smell nearly as bad as it did with regular, crap-filled food.
This stuff is amazing. Why only 4 stars, then? The price. This is one of the best prices I've found for this type of cat food, but the brand itself is very expensive. But, our cat is part of our family, it's worth it.

Natural Balance Ultra Premium Formula Dry Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We are breeders of sphynx (hairless) cats. Prior to Natural Balance, the only way we could get our cats to eat dry food was to mix it with warm water and a half can of canned cat food, usually Iams or Friskies when money was low. Our local feed store recommended Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance as a healthy and tasty alternative. Our adult cats love it...no more "hunger strikes" holding out for canned food. Even our kittens started eating it at only 8 weeks, when mixed with a bit of warm water. Since there are no 'fillers', the cats are eating less to become full, which to me justifies the higher price.

Purina One Sensitive Systems Cat, 7-Pounds Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old kitty was losing weight, vomiting constantly, and had loose stools. The vet could not find anything wrong with her. She lost more and more weight, had poor fur and low energy. I was resigned to losing this very sweet cat. She was eating one of the most expensive cat foods. One day in the grocery store I noticed a display of all the Purina One products. I bought a bag of Sensitive Systems cat food. When I put some in her bowl, she meowed while eating it! Within days I saw an improvement in her energy level. She is now doing great, correct weight, good fur. For some reason, the store quit carrying this, so now I order it for her.

Premium Edge Dry Cat Food for Senior CAT, Hairball Management Formula Chicken, Salmon and Vegetables, 6 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was originally purchasing this at Petfood Express in San Francisco. Then I saw it was cheaper at Amazon and started buying from there. The food that came from Amazon was lighter in color and had more dusty/small particles of food throughout. The food is currently back-ordered at Amazon. So I purchased it from the store again, and noticed the difference again.
Has anyone else noticed the product varies depending on where it is purchased?

Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Formula Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My dogs have different problems: one is missing most of the small intestine (with predictable results) and the other was getting sores and skin infections (probably got a little golden in the mix). I switched both to this after noticing the Science Diet sensitive skin/stomach was passing through mostly undigested (it's corn-based) and wasn't "curing" their problems. It's been two years and the digestive and skin problems are gone and their coats are beautiful. I get it from Petsmart and avoid the steep shipping charges listed here.

Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul Dry Cat Food for Adult Cat, Chicken Flavor, 18 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)After doing much research to find the best food for my cats I decided on this one. The ingredients are far more superior for cats than many that proclaim their products to be premium. Cats need meat, not a bunch of cheap grain fillers. [...]*Note* There's never been a recall on this food.
The price is lower than most of the "premium" foods, too. My cats all look great & eat it very well.

Natural Balance Dry Cat Food, Ultra Premium Formula, 15 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Chances are if you are looking at Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance, you are looking into finding a quality cat food for you animals. I'm a firm believer in buying the best quality foods for my animals in order to ensure their optimum good health, especially since the 2007 pet food recalls from melamine adulterated food. Initially, when I purchased this food that didn't factor into my decision.
I had a long-haired cat who gifted me with hairballs on a frequent basis. A friend told me about this food and swore by it, claiming her rugs and furniture no longer suffered from constant scrubbing. I decided to give Natural Balance a try and was amazed at the results. I no longer have that cat, but did inherit another long-haired cutie pie who LOVES this food. I changed her food to this one a month ago, gradually mixing it with her previous food, and it somehow helps her body minimize the hairball activity. I want her to be healthy and happy and find the expense to be well worth it. This is brief blurb from their website, information that can be found on the bag as well:
* Fresh Chicken, Salmon Meal, New Zealand Lamb Meal This unique blend of fresh, high quality proteins provides the essential amino acids to help maintain strong muscle tone and a healthy, shiny coat.
* Taurine Fortified To help maintain a healthy heart and good vision.
* Fresh Potatoes Rich in potassium and an excellent source of highly digestible carbohydrates.
* Preserved Naturally To maintain freshness, Natural Balance uses only mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E) in all of its formulas and will always be free of artificial flavors, colors and chemical preservatives.
* Skin and Coat Essential Fatty Acids are combined to produce an excellent skin and coat for your cat.
* High Digestibility
No Artificial Preservatives, Flavors, Colors, or Bleached Ingredients.
If you need to find out more, you can check out this food at Petco, where I purchased it, or head to the Natural Balance website. Of course everyone has their own opinion and will look at several factors when purchasing for their animals. You and only you know your needs, but I find that this food satisfies not only mine (I don't have to invest in so many paper towels), but obviously that of my cat. I was using a perfectly acceptable organic food, but when I mixed this with it ... well, lets just say she likes Natural better than organic. I'm happy if she's happy and I'm not constantly cleaning up after her these days!

Eukanuba Adult Sensitive Stomach Formula Dry Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have 11 rescue cats and 6 of them really like this food. Three of these guys have IBD which gave them chronic vomiting problems. I'm not a fan of raw food and I don't live in a large metropolitan area where I have lots of high-end choices. I don't like feeding my cats corn or wheat any more than I have to. I tried Felidae and no one ate it. I tried Blue Buffalo and no one ate it. I tried By Nature and a few would eat it. I tried Pet Guard and a few liked that but mostly my Chihuahua thought it was yummy. I tried Sensitive Stomach and most of them would eat it and some seemed to really like it! I still get the occasional digestive upset but only about 1/10th of what I used to see. I also feed Eagle Pak Holistic Chicken but I have to drive 40 minutes one-way to get that and the store doesn't keep it reliably in stock. Now I have 4 feeding stations using: By Nature, Pet Guard, Eagle Pak and Sensitive Stomach and every one is eating and thriving. Sensitive Stomach seems to be the favorite and I fill that bowl up about the same as the Eagle Pak but three times as often as the By Nature and Pet Guard. All my cats have fabulous coats and the two that don't have chronic diarrhea have firm stools. Now I would love to find a food that has extra Lysine and Dura-Lactin in it for my chronic Herpes carriers.
I was horrified when Eukanuba stopped making Sensitive Stomach last year. When I heard the news I drove all over my city buying every bag I could find. I found 10 bags and that didn't last me through the drought. I was so glad to see it return to the shelves. Sensitive Stomach has a higher corn content than I would like but the cats that prefer it aren't overweight, aren't suffering from corn allergies, don't have trouble with diabetes and seem to be thriving, so I'm tolerating the corn content.

Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food, Canyon River w/ Trout & Smoked Salmon, 15 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I would recommend this product, on the grounds that you don't mind the smell of fish and sweat socks.
I buy cat food in bigger bags and store it in a little tote box for my cat. I bought Taste Of The Wild Canyon River in the 8lb bag and dumped it in the tote. Wow. I was smacked in the face by a fish odor that I probably will never forget. It's like a cross between gym shorts, wet towel, and a fish department. In that regard, I won't complain too much because it's healthy, grain-free, and there's less waste in the litter box. If you can stand the pungent smell of sweat socks and fish, I can do nothing but recommend this cat food. My cat's coat has never been more silky and soft.

Instinct Grain-Free Rabbit Meal Formula for Cats, 5.5-Pounds Package Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed with my recent purchase of this product. I think Instinct is top quality cat food, and my cat ate previous bags of this food with enthusiasm. In the bag I received in my recent purchase the texture was much different and my cat wouldn't get near it.
If the recipe has changed I sure hope the company realizes they made a mistake and changes back. For now we've switched to Wellness Core.

Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck Formula Cat Food, 5-Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this after seeing recommendations from people whose cats had digestive problems. My maine coon had the same problem and being long hair her soft stool issue wasn't pretty. Within days of feeding her this food wet and dry her problem stopped. Her poo does smell terrible but it's been like that with every good quality food she's had. In all I highly recommend this food to anyone who has a cat with digestion, loose stool issues.

Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food, Canyon River w/ Trout & Smoked Salmon, 5 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Yes, when I pour the bag into my airtight storage containers, the lyrics from Thriller come to mind:
"The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom"
But, this review is about my kitty's reaction, not mine. The directions on the bag suggest mixing the new food with familiar food for a while, so that your pet's digestive system can get used to the new stuff. A slave to Pete, my cat, I willingly obliged. He couldn't be happier! He's on his 3rd bag of the Canyon River; he's been eating it straight for a while.
Being a (mostly) Russian Blue cat, Pete has always been super soft. Imagine my surprise when his coat became even silkier! While the food stinks, my kitty's breath does not. Maybe because I weaned him off of his old brand? Who knows. Now, here's the very best part: my cat poops less frequently! Hooray! Because of the wildly mixed reviews on this product in the larger size, I would recommend buying this smaller bag before committing to the larger one.

Taste of the Wild Dry Cat Food, Rocky Mountain Feline Formula with Roasted Venison and Smoked Salmon, 15-Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We currently have 3 cats and have been feeding Taste of the Wild for almost a year. My cats love this stuff. They run to the bowl to eat. The best is however the reaction on their coats. No more problems with itchy skin and hair loss because of grains that are in most pet foods. Outstanding product!!!!! The only wish is that it would be be in larger sizes

Salmon Bleu Grain Fee Cat Food 4lbs Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I live with 5 felines and they just can't get enough of Addiction - Salmon! I don't feed it to them everyday being the cost is up there, but they know where it is and they ask for it every opportunity they get! I am very pleased that this is a quality food that we can depend on. Just wish it was sold in larger quantities and a little more resonable price.

Solid Gold Katz-N-Flocken Dry Cat Food 15lb Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great product. it seens to have all stuff my vet recommends for a healthy cat. My cats love it and it's all they will eat.
I have bought this item for three years from a local retailer who stopped handling it. It has always been vaccuum sealed. This shipment arrived with two of the bags not sealed. The externel shipping boxes were not damaged so I must assume they were shipped to me from the retailer in the broken seal condition. I buy in quantity so the vacuum seal is important to me.

Go Natural Chicken, Fruit & Vegetable Cat Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had my male cat on this food awhile back and he not only liked it, he seemed to do very well on it. I have tried everything from Acana, Wellness, Wellness Core, Innova, and a bunch of other cat foods and my cats did not do well on them. In researching cat foods, I discovered wet food is ideal and that carbs are bad, as they can cause diabetes, UTI, etc. My male cat has had 2 UTI's on other high carb foods. So now I've been trying grain free foods and making one of their meals canned food each day. But it is too costly to feed 3 cats only canned every day, so I want to split half dry half wet. I am torn between buying this food, which my cat did well on, or trying the grain free, which I don't know how they will do on. I was tempted to try EVO, but now I think it may actually be too high in protein. So I'm going to buy either this one or the grain free Go Natural cat food today. I'll probably try the grain free.
