(More customer reviews)Dogs have been on these pills for 3 weeks now. I have hi-methane output dogs - boston terriers and french bulldog. The product seems to have helped with their methane issues - but the lawn still gets yellow spots and my flowers that get tinkled on still burn. I know the product states to give it a full month, so we'll see if another week makes a change. One thing I didn't fully appreciate is this product alleges to be "probiotic with digestive enzymes" so with that consideration, not sure how that affects the nitrogen aspect of their pee output, but like I said, it has helped with the methane output, so I know something positive is going on.

(More customer reviews)Wellness is a food we like for our dogs both because of what's in it and what's not in it. Why does it cost a little more than some other foods? Think about what's not in it. No meat-by-products. No wheat. No corn. No white rice. No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
Our bichon had been having major problems with itching and skin allergies. Our vet suggested we put her on a bland diet and gradually introduce foods to determine the cause or causes or her discomfort. One day an employee at a local pet store suggested we try Wellness with whitefish and sweet potato. I wasn't sure about feeding fish to our dogs but gave it a try.
The switch to this Wellness formula was a great success. Evie loves the flavor of this recipe and eats it eagerly. While on the Wellness diet her itching and scratching decreased tremendously. The standard over processed stuff you find in the stores, even the higher end "natural" brands don't even come close to this. This food is nothing but the real deal. When you put the water into it, it actually smells like the items in it. There is no need for extra oils etc. I have four dogs who start barking as soon as the water goes into it and it soaks. They can't wait to eat now! I am going to try all the various flavors. It took about three weeks for their systems to adjust but now they seem totally fine and have no issues. If you get worried about their stools, just wait. You need to introduce this food gradually and you will be rewarded with dogs that seem to have a lot more energy.

(More customer reviews)We adopted a small mutt from the pound and after reading some horror stories about what some companies put in their dog food, I chose this one. Also, it is good for dogs with sensitive stomach, which ours has. She likes this food. When she came from the pound she was pretty skinny and scruffy looking; her coat has improved somewhat and she has put on some muscle weight but granted that could just be from the improved overall care rather than the food in particular; I don't really know. Our dog is 10 pounds and she has to take her time with each kibble since they are a little large, but it doesn't pose a problem for her. I just wish they made a kibble for small dogs.

He is allergic to MOST grains and meats so I was stuck cooking individual meals for him which was very time consuming and expensive. This is a great alternative! Our pug loves it and we supplement the dry food with the canned version which actually smells like sweet potato! Natural Balance had been reccomended by a canine nutritionist and this product is wonderful. It has decreased our vet bills and the need for steroids and medications for allergies.

I have some very itchy dogs and am giving them a limited ingredient dog food to try to help. The duck and sweet potato cut down on the itching significantly, but when we tried lamb and rice they started itching more once again. I like Natural Balance for the quality ingredients.

We had been feeding her Evolve from when we got her from the breeder. The breeder gave us a small bag with her, but then she started to poop in the house and is was runny and not well formed, we found out that they had changed the formulation of the food and we had been giving her this for almost 5 years. We did a lot of research and then tried the California Natural Chicken and Rice adult dog food and she was fine and she loved it. We only give her 6 oz. twice a day and her weight is great and she is very healthy, has great Vet checkups. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those whose dogs have fussy stomachs, the ingredients are all natural and of very high quality, suitable for human consumption.

BUT my friend's dog thinks these are the best things since Puppy Chow and she will NOT leave me alone if her nose sniffs out that I have a baggie with a couple of these in my pocket for her! I like that they are not full of grains and other assorted junk that our pets don't need to eat. Nice reclosable bag too, which is convenient.
