(More customer reviews)We adopted a small mutt from the pound and after reading some horror stories about what some companies put in their dog food, I chose this one. Also, it is good for dogs with sensitive stomach, which ours has. She likes this food. When she came from the pound she was pretty skinny and scruffy looking; her coat has improved somewhat and she has put on some muscle weight but granted that could just be from the improved overall care rather than the food in particular; I don't really know. Our dog is 10 pounds and she has to take her time with each kibble since they are a little large, but it doesn't pose a problem for her. I just wish they made a kibble for small dogs.

(More customer reviews)I feed this to my Collie Lady. She has a very fussy stomach, and you give her almost anything else and she gets the runs. We had been feeding her Evolve from when we got her from the breeder. The breeder gave us a small bag with her, but then she started to poop in the house and is was runny and not well formed, we found out that they had changed the formulation of the food and we had been giving her this for almost 5 years. We did a lot of research and then tried the California Natural Chicken and Rice adult dog food and she was fine and she loved it. We only give her 6 oz. twice a day and her weight is great and she is very healthy, has great Vet checkups. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those whose dogs have fussy stomachs, the ingredients are all natural and of very high quality, suitable for human consumption.

California Natural Lamb Meal & Rice Large Bites Dry Adult Dog Food Review

(More customer reviews)So far, this is one of only 3 dog food brands that I've found that my Border collie and adopted Australian Shepherd do well on. They used to itch and shed a lot until I switched to this food. Our australian shepherd had pink around his mouth and on his belly before switching. It has limited ingredients, less chance of food alergies. I have tried many high cost and probably high quality foods but nothing worked. I ended up having the best luck with this and with Purina one smartblend of all foods. I know, I know, that's not what you read when you research the internet but my dogs do best on Purina or this California brand.
