Nutri-Vet Grass Guard Max with Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, 365 count Review

Nutri-Vet Grass Guard Max with Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, 365 count

Dogs have been on these pills for 3 weeks now. I have hi-methane output dogs - boston terriers and french bulldog. The product seems to have helped with their methane issues - but the lawn still gets yellow spots and my flowers that get tinkled on still burn. I know the product states to give it a full month, so we'll see if another week makes a change. One thing I didn't fully appreciate is this product alleges to be "probiotic with digestive enzymes" so with that consideration, not sure how that affects the nitrogen aspect of their pee output, but like I said, it has helped with the methane output, so I know something positive is going on.

PetAg Bene-Bac Pet Gel, 15 Gram Syringe Review

This is the same product I purchased at my vet's office for over $20!! Exactly the same...even down to the expiration date. This product is great to give to your pet anytime you are administering antibiotics. Just make sure it is given at least 1 hour before or after. It helps prevent stomach upset and diarrhea that can be caused by antibiotics.

Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes & Probiotics, 300 Grams Review

Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes and Probiotics, 300 Grams

When my Giant German Shepherd was just a few months old he spent 3 weeks with a trainer. When he returned from the kennels there he had a skin infection. The vet prescribed antibiotics and gave him a cortizone shot. To make a long story short, this began a very ugly cycle. These intitial treatments broke this pup's immune system. He became allergic to many things, food, his tic & flea treatment, etc. As a result he would have ear infections on a regular basis, diarrhea, and would constantly chew at his rump. We'd take him back to the vet and he'd prescribe more of the above. The poor guy would be up all night chewing and scratching himself and suffering. This went on for many months. Someone with a holistic persective finally advised that it sounded as though his immune system was out of wack due to all of drugs, etc. and that I should try this product. I began using it and within 10 days an improvement began. After a month, he almost never scratched, etc. He's been on it now for 6 months and hasn't had diarrhea (which had been a couple times a month), he's back on his tic & flea treatment with no negative reaction. He sleeps through the night, his coat has improved and he's gaining weight at a more appropriate rate.
We will keep him on this stuff forever. It seems he had developed a yeast infection from all the drugs and now it's gone!

Wysong C-Biotic Canine Food Supplement for Dogs Review

Wysong C-Biotic Canine Food Supplement for Dogs
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This wonderful stuff has made such a difference for both our dogs. We have used it for about 4 years. Our younger dog frequently had runny stools - the vet often put him on powerful anti-biotics for the diahrea. Since I started adding a tablespoon of this to all his meals, he can eat anything (including raw meat) with no loose stools, ever! (My dogs are currently eating primarily a fresh food diet that I prepare.) A vet suggested Wysong C-biotic for the pro-biotics, but I believe it also has digestive enzymes that our dog may have been missing. Our older dog had terrible allergies. She was on a variety of meds and even received regular allergy shots. Adding this to her meals made a significant difference. It didn't make sense to me, but her old vet (who is not very holistic) said it made perfect sense. The immune system is based in the gut, and it is the immune system that goes haywire and creates allergies. Getting the old dog's digestive track working better helped her immune system work more normally. (Not to say her allergies are gone, but it is as helpful as many of the other things we do for her.) The dogs love the taste of it too!

Probios? Dog Treats - Digestion Support - 1lb Pouch Review

Probios? Dog Treats - Digestion Support - 1lb Pouch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Probios dog treats are dry "probiotic," lactose-free dog biscuits that are supposed to "promote healthy digestion and total body health." These biscuits are formulated to help dogs with digestive upset or diarrhea, and are labeled for use for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. The active ingredients (listed in order) include: barley flour, rice flour, potato flakes, peanut flour, soy oil, dried Bacillus subtilis fermentation product, dried Bacillus lichenformis fermentation product, and sodium alumnio silicate.
The problem with some probiotics, however, is that sometimes the good bacteria (or Bacillus) may be killed off in the stomach, before it has a chance to work in the small intestines. The second issue that I noticed is that none of the ingredients contain high-fiber ingredients, which may be beneficial for diarrhea. That said, most of the ingredients are bland, which is helpful when a dog has gastrointestinal upset. As for palatability: I tried these on my own dog, JP, who didn't have any diarrhea of GI upset. Unfortunately, he didn't love these, and only ate them with urging. One paw down for palatability.

Probiotic Miracle Dog Probiotics for Dogs (360 servings) Review

Probiotic Miracle Dog Probiotics for Dogs (360 servings)

This probiotic supplement helped my dog SO much. Her problem was a combination of yeast and allergies, which combined also gave her loose stool when she had to be on antibiotics. She had itchy and "splotchy" skin and a bad odor. Within 2 weeks I noticed a difference, after 3 and 4 weeks... BIG difference. No more yeast or allergies issues now. Also her stools are solid and healthy now. She has not had any health issues for the past 9 months (no antibiotics, yay!). I am a very pleased customer. I have purchased this product many times. I've saved a lot of money by not having to go to the vet and buy prescriptions anymore. Great probiotics for dogs.

My dog was suffering from IBS or at least had very bad poops at least once a week. I started using this product about four months ago and I have noticed a 100% improvement. The directions say to give her two a day but I only give her one. I guess it depends on the dog. The one capsule works fine.

We been using this probiotic powder for our dog and our cat for about 2 years now. It is the only thing we've found that keeps the yeast under control among other things. Our cat too would have trouble with her bowels. We are customers for life. Highly recommend.
