(More customer reviews)My dogs just love this Paw Naturaw frozen raw diet. It works so much better to feed them this in our household. First, they like it enough that they eat it right away instead of letting something sit; this really helps our family keep to a schedule where we know the dogs' needs to go out are being met. Second, they are a lot more active since they started this diet; they seem to have more energy and play together. Third, MANY LESS incidents of the dogs having stomach upset or intestinal upset. (Cleaning up outside is a lot easier!)

It wasn't listed in the pet food recall, but several pet parents have had sick dogs and cats from this "premium" food. I spent $3,200 in vet's bills and had many anguished nights. The vet put him on a perscription food, but that one has also been recalled recently...arg! Fearful for their health, I fed them tuna (I know, not the best option), and though Vladi maintained his health, my house REEKED of fish. Praise the lord for Evolution! They love the taste of this, it smells good (and tastes good too...I tried a bit, and I'd totally eat it) and I'm not grossed out by touching it. I feel great that my cats are eating food that I like, both for it's nutrition and for its ethics. I'm going to be an Evolution costomer for life!

She told me that because German Shepards have sensitive stomachs and also prone to hip problems is why this product is so beneficial to their dogs. Ever since a puppy my dogs been on Canidae. I have tried others when I couldn't find Canadie, like now and noticed a differance in various ways. I am happy to see I can now buy the product online to get my dog back on tract.

(More customer reviews)I have a Shepherd/Labrador mix who will be 15 years old in May 2009. In his prime, he weighed 72 lbs. At his most recent vet check in October 2008 he had dropped to 51 lbs. He had also picked up three habits he had never displayed in his entire life - begging at the table, rooting through the trash and eating his own feces.
The vet explained that although his senior bloodwork was normal, his body was not processing the nutrients in his food so he was looking for sustenance. To put it bluntly - he was starving himself to death. My vet recommended Prozyme.
After almost two months on Prozyme, Galahad has gained three pounds. He doesn't hover at the table or nose through the trash and he doesn't scour the yard for his own droppings. His appetite for regular food has even improved.
I would definitely recommend Prozyme.

Mom and Dad like it because it comes in small packages for dogs my size. The pouches are easy to open and squeeze into my dog dish. The pouches make it convenient to take with us when we go somewhere and I need to have food with me.
They say it meets the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for growth and maintenance. I just say it tastes good.

(More customer reviews)I foster dogs and puppies and am always on the lookout for things that will help in my care of them. Many of the puppies and dogs I get are in poor health or undernourished so a good, tasty nutritional supplement is a must.
Nurti-Cal is such a supplement. I first found out about Nutri-Cal while fostering 2, 2 week old Rottweilers who were very ill and needed to be fed via bottle. The other folks in rescue suggested that I try Nurti-Cal to help these pups get the nutritional support they needed and they all swore that this is a miracle product. I tried it and was absolutely amazed at how well the puppies responded to the Nurti-Cal and immediately purchased several more tubes to keep in my arsenal. I have used it with older dogs too in a pinch when I couldn't readily get the adult dog version. This is also a great product to help put some needed weight on dogs or to help nurse along a sick dog to ensure they are getting the nutrients they need. Unfortunately, the place where I used to purchase Nutri-Cal stopped carrying it and replaced it with a more expensive but nutritionally similar product. I purchased that product and the puppy I was fostering at the time wouldn't even touch it, nor would any of my dogs. If you knew my dogs, you would know that it must be pretty awful tasting if they wouldn't touch it! I was so pleased to find this product on Amazon and immediately ordered several tubes. It keeps for a long time so stocking up isn't a problem.
Is this really a miracle product? All I can say is that I have seen amazing results when using this with sick and malnourished dogs and that it is now my "go to" supplement when a new foster dog arrives at my home. This is an all-around great nutritional supplement that dogs love the taste of. I highly recommend it, especially if you are involved in foster or rescue work.

Being a Persian, she lacks hunting skills and is shy with strangers. The combination of these traits make Persians very unlikely to survive stray life outdoors.
Nervous worrying made me determined to find her. I took off two weeks of work. Everyday asking neighbors about her,calling her name out and searching for her by car and on foot was all I could do. By week two, I was nearly convinced that she had perished. When someone finally had seen her and recognized her, my hope and determination was renewed.
Exactly fourteen days later, at dusk, she was eating the food I'd left for her along with a box of my clothes(I read this tip on the internet)
Back indoors, she was extremely thin and weak, the vet administered fluids and treated the flea infestation.
Upon discharge he recommended Nutri-Cal. The fleas really sucked out so much blood, she was still very lethargic and had a poor appetite.
Little by little she began eating. Nutri-Cal was fed to her sometimes as the only food she wouldn't reject. By fall, she was back to herself. Healthy, chubby and playful. I can't emphasize enough how important Nutri-Cal was to her recovery.

I had to adjust the amount since my boy is 18lbs but he is now doing excellent. He likes the powder and I put it on his special diet wet food. Thank you Wysong !!

Linatone Plus for Dogs - Gallon Review

(More customer reviews)I have 12 indoor cats. Three of them have differnt skin allergies. Symptoms: Scratching, nibbling, skin-crawling, (jumps like another cat is bothering him!) Another just gets spots of hair loss through out the hind quarters, almost like hot spots... and the other licks and nibbles a lot. I mix 3 Full droppers full of Linatone with a tiny half teaspoon of chicken Gerber baby food. stir like a paste to cover the oil taste they don't like, and dose them nightly when the seasons bring on change and these three get bad reactions. the cats think they are getting a treat. (they are at the cost of baby food jars!) When their symptoms calm and the flare passes. I put off the treatment till evidence bears the truth , I need to treat them again. I shouldn't stop really, just go to twice a week dose really.
One more thing, one cat got a bad ear infection last spring. The Vets (I took him to 2) were of little help. He needed antibiotic & prednisone, but that didn't stop his crying and scratching the ear outside bloody. I decided after a month, that it was his "allergies" and started up the Linatone! It cleared up... with a little help from quarter tab of childs Benedryl to boot! This stuff is the best. I refridgerator it and it keeps for years. I have had my 1st gallon for 5 years and am now buying more. Try it... you'll like it. Give it about 2-3 weeks for you to see a difference. Good for Dogs and Cats. Even the breeder I bought one cat from, thought this was just for Dogs! I had news for her!

Nutri-Cal (4.25 oz paste) by EVSCO Review

(More customer reviews)The EVSCO version of Nutri-Cal brand product advertised is absolutely awesome, unfortunately I received a slightly different version...same manuracturer but a slightly different "quality line" after expressing my dis-satisfaction with receiving the 'similar' but not identical product, the staff at EntirelyPets was more than helpful in resolving the situation all in the same day!
So I applaud EntirelyPets & their staff for their help in resolving this issue quickly. Anyone who has raised puppies or rescued an struggling puppy or dog understands how important it is to have a product that works, a product that stimulates their appetite and provides superior nutrition, and to have that product in a timely manner.
Thanks again to EntirelyPets for responding quickly - everything was resolved the same day even!!!For anyone interested: my issue revolved around my very positive experience useing the "EVSCO" line or version of the brand name product called: Nutri-Cal.... The EVSCO version of Nutri-Cal is in my opinion, a wonderful product, i.e. even a puppy that is struggling or not keeping up with litter mates, etc. will nearly take your finger off when offered the EVSCO version of Nutri-Cal.
I made the mistake of ordering a case of the "Tomlyn" version/line of Nutri-Cal from Revival Animal Health, by mistake what I mean to say is that we had to force even a healthy vibrant puppy or even the adult dog to ingest it... they would them spit it out like it was poison... at first we thought maybe we had a bad batch... after all, the manufacturer was the same. What I have learned since is apparently the manufacturer makes many "versions" or "variations" of Nutri-Cal depending on the venue or customer group that is targeted.
We suspected a difference after comparing the last blue & white striped tube we had of the wonderful EVSCO version of Nutri-Cal to the white tube of Tomlyn version of Nutrical. The EVSCO has a higher fat and slightly higher protein content. While the ingredients listed are the same, it would appear that the percentage is altered depending on the quality/expense allowed depending on the "version" or "variation" that is being sold. The awesome EVSCO version smells a lot like fish sort of a salmon or cod oil smell - it may seem like a small issue, but it could mean the difference between a puppy that thrives when it might not otherwise despite all your best efforts.
Some dogs might eat any version of Nutri-Cal, but one that is struggling or needing rescued will need the BEST version, and in my experience, that is the codliver smelling: 34.5% fat & 7%protein "EVSCO version of Nutri-Cal" !!!!
Works like nothing else!!!
So again I applaud EntirelyPets & their staff for their help in resolving this issue quickly.
