EUKANUBA CUSTOM CARE SENSITIVE STOMACH 30 LB BG Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Finally this dog food is again available. The bad part is the increased price. I paid way too much for this food, but my dog needed it. I was paying $50 for 50#'s and this was $75 for 30#. I think the price was a matter of supply and demand.

Orijen Regional Red Dry Dog Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My two dogs, Casey and Bonnie, are very pickey eaters. Many of the high quality dog foods that I have tried they would not eat. I read a lot about this brand of food and it gave it a try. They love it. The only negative is that it is expensive, but my dogs are small and so the price wasn't a real issue. They have other dog foods which are cheaper, but still of high quality. I think it is the price of the protein used which affects cost the most.

Earthborn Holistic, Primative Natural, 28# Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I first purchased this food at the Pomona Pet Expo this year and as I do all my cooking for my animals I was looking for a natural grain free dry to add to their wet. I learned that feeding your dogs the right food from an early age is key to keeping them healthy and with you for as long as possible.
This by far is one of the best Natural foods I have purchased and my dogs just (Love) it.. The Holistic Primitive is high in Protein and very well tolerated by sensitive stomachs. This food has never been recalled and is made in it's own plant, unlike most major brands out there that are manufactured at the same plant and only under different names. The price I find to be fare, as I have paid much higher for other Holistic food which was not received well by my dogs.
I highly recommend Earthborn Natural food for anyone who really knows the importance of feeding your "companions" healthy food and for those who really Love their Pet's..

Nutro Natural Choice Chk/Rice Lg Breed Adlt 35lb Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have found that different dogs respond optimally to different mixtures (kinda like people, eh?) or brands. With the Nutro, everyone seems to be happy. The ingredients look reasonable, the price is much better then most of the high end brands (with comparable ingredients, i might add :)), and the eat it all up right away factor is very high! Based upon these observations, I highly recommend that you give this brand a try!
All the best,
Jay

Natural Balance Dry Dog Food, Grain Free Limited Ingredient Diet Venison and Sweet Potato Recipe, 15 Pound Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My dog, who is on a vension diet due to allergies, likes it better than the Science Diet I was buying at the vet, and the price is better. I think he's itching less as well, that may be because he's no longer getting into the cat's food that we try to keep inaccessible to him.

HealthWise Chicken Meal & Oatmeal Adult Dry Dog Food (35-lb bag) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Natura makers of Innova, EVO, California Natural, HealthWise, and Karma have sold to Proctor and Gamble (maker of Iams/Eukanuba) which are know for their poor ingredients and animal cruelty. I have been feeding my cat Evo and they have done really well on this. However, after this sale we can expect the quality plummet and, of course, I don't want to support this company known for their animal cruelty. I will never buy this line again and urge everyone to do the same. I am so glad my pet store notified me of this. After the sale is final they plan to discontinue carrying this line ~ which tells you something.

FirstMate Australian Lamb Dog Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I tried the lamb dog food because the blueberry and chicken flavor was on back order, and even though it is a little more expensive, I'm glad I did. It's a nice alternative flavor for our dog and he experienced no digestive problems with the change, one of the benefits of Firstmate dog foods -- all flavors are interchangeable. I would urge the reader to try this or any other Firstmate dog food flavor.

Breeder's Choice Pinnacle Canine Trout & Sweet Potato Formula Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When we got my dog, she barely ate. She didn't even like treats. We finally got her to eat, but the regular (more affordable) brands didn't sit well with her system. My vet recommended this or to cook her food on our own. Obviously, cooking food for a dog gets a bit time-consuming, but this Pinnacle food really was great for my dog. She finally started to gain weight. (She was so skinny when we got her from the shelter.)
My dog doesn't seem to have the farting problem the other reviewer said.
I guess every dog's system is different and you just have to find the one that's right for your dog. this one works great for ours :)

Fromm Gold Holistic Puppy Dry Dog Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have a 14 week old silver dapple miniature dachshund (Sophie) that couldn't hold down any food. She was getting the runs and just plan out sickly. We picked up a bag of Fromm Puppy Gold and started feeding it at 100%. The next day she had the first firm stool we had ever seen! Sophie has now been on the food for about a month and we never plan on feeding her anything other than Fromm. It's a great food!!!!

Wells Earthborn Holistic Primitive Natural Grain-Free Dog Food - 14 lb. Bag Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My three-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix is thriving on this food. He has had seizures since I adopted him along with severe skin allergies. Both have stopped completely since starting him on this food. It is the only grain-free food he will eat and it has helped me identify that he does have a grain allergy. He loves it and has actually lost weight on it (for him this is a good thing). He is currently maintaining a healthy weight. He does have a few issues with diarrhea, but has had the same issue on any food we have tried so I do not believe the food is causing it. Also, some of the bags do have Menadione Sodium Bisulfite listing as an ingredient. However, this is not listed as an ingredient on their Web site. From what I have read, they no longer use it and are simply using up old packaging which is very environmentally friendly.

Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Puppy Chicken Meal, Rice & Oatmeal Formula Dry Dog Food Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Hi, we own two pups. The previous owner gave us a bag of Purina food when we bought them. They were so itchy that I though they had fleas. I bought fleas medicine, but it didn't help. I went to petsmart, and they recommended me to buy this brand. Nutro Natural Choice Wheat free helped them. It eliminated their itch about 85 to 90% with the first bag. I never going to change the brand. The price is a bit expensive comparing with other brands, so I recommend to buy in ebay coupons for this food. I buy get $3.00 off for any bag. Petsmart sells a 5 lbs. bag @ $9.29, but Aubuchon sells their @ $7.99. Check your local distributors for prices. They also have a frequent buyer program (buy 10 and get 1 free). Register in their, and they will send you coupons.

Holistic Select Puppy Chicken, Canned Dog Food (Pack of 12 13-Ounce Cans) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This puppy formula is great. I have a Rat Terrier puppy, Maggie who had problematic diarrhea with other canned puppy foods, especially ones with rice, even when I changed the brand slowly as recommended. However with Holistic Select, the diarrhea stopped and she has been fine for the last four weeks. The "Puppy Recipe" looks and smells good, like a real home cooked chicken dinner. She is happy and healthy and growing like a weed.

Canidae Canned Dog Food, Chicken and Rice Formula in Chicken Broth (Pack of 12 13 Ounce Cans) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 11 dogs love this so I say it is great! The tiny ones (toy poodles) get the almost straight food. The others get this mixed with their Bil-Jac. I am impressed with the ingredients. Not full of corn! Another thing I noticed... Every time I have fed my dogs any brand of straight canned dog food, with the exception of Science Diet, they had diarrhea. Not with this one. Not even one of them had it. That's a good thing. I ordered two more cases and will continue. The price is reasonable too and free shipping with Amazon Prime or free shipping with purchase over 25.00.
