Evanger's Super Premium Dog Food Pheasant with Brown Rice 16.5 lbs Review

We adopted a standard poodle about a year and a half ago. She had a hard time just surviving until we discovered she couldn't eat chicken or beef without getting sick. It's very hard to find a commercial dog food that doesn't have one of those as a major ingredient. Even many of the lamb and rice formulas have chicken in some form as a major ingredient. I was making her food fresh twice a week, approximately a three hour process each time. We had to hand feed it to her most of the time. Then one day she decided she was done with the food she'd been eating for months. I had some sample packets of Evanger's Pheasant and Brown Rice. She ate it! And she has continued to eat it, a big step for her. Finally, a quality food, commercially prepared, that she can eat without getting sick and will eat all by herself. And it's wonderful to have it available on Amazon. Life's gotten so much easier.

I'm sure the product is just fine but my dog won't eat it which is funny since he does eat the dry Kibbles 'n Bits. I guess he doesn't like the texture. I have friends whose dogs eat this product.

I have bought several of the Vitality canned dog food products and have found them all to be of good quality. The product looks more like a stew than a processed meat and it smells better. My Labrador is finicky and she appreciates this product better than most.

Cesar Canine Cuisine Varety Pack Food Review
Grade: A
I was questionable about buying these at first, seeing that I'd be paying a dollar for an incredibly small meal my miniture dobermans would surely eat up in a minute. So I took a chance and bought the 12 pack-which includes Filet Mignon and Porterhouse Steak flavors-and my dogs ate them up! Yes, they did eat them fairly quickly, but I found that mixing two of the dinners and a big bowl full of dry food will still be tasty enough for them. Do that, and you'll get more use out of these-dogs seem to like their flavor. So although they aren't that healthy for dogs everyday (I made sure to read the inredients on the back), they're perfect for a snack or to mix with dinner.

Bil-Jac Select Adult Super Premium Dry Dog Food Review

We were given a small sample carton of Bil-Jac food about 3 weeks ago. It was part of their "challenge pack." My dogs had it for dinner that night and we put the rest on the counter for their next meal. Well, some time during the night, our dogs got the package down (which they've NEVER done before!) and not only ate every morsel, but they destroyed the carton! My dogs are not at all destructive so it was a huge humorous surprise in the morning! I took a picture of the carton to send to the company. Great stuff! Oh, yeah, they both are looking very healthy from this food as well!

Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken Canned Cat Food Review

Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken Canned Cat Food

I adopted Layla as an older cat (~7yrs), and she had chronic diarrhea and was underweight, but also a finicky eater. My vet prescribed special IBS canned food, which Layla hated with a passion, so in an effort to coax her to eat, I would let her eat cheap gravy food (the only food she kind of liked) along with shredded chicken I would cook. This was either hit or miss with her, and I frequently ended up wasting food because she either flat-out refused to eat it or wouldn't eat all of it. Even with frequent vet visits and medicine, Layla proceeded to get sicker with her IBS, and out of desperation, I ordered the Paw Lickin' Chicken along with some other flavors. Layla absolutely adores it!!!! It looks and smells like human food, and is clearly high quality (it looks exactly like the picture). The other cheaper food would sometimes make me gag at its consistency and the poor quality of the meat, but Weruva is wonderful! It is high in water content, so I know Layla is staying hydrated, and it's also so easy to wash out of the bowl, unlike gravy food or pate. The other thing I've noticed is that Layla doesn't need as much food to stay satiated. She eats about three 3.0 ounce cans a day, and has no problem with grazing on them throughout the day, which she wouldn't do with the other food.
Economically speaking, yes, Weruva is a more expensive food ounce for ounce, but the money I save on waste actually makes Weruva cheaper for me. Plus, when you compare the price to the quality of the food you receive, Weruva is a far better purchase than the more popular high-end cat food (which cost the same). However, the most important point is that I now have a very happy cat without IBS symptoms, who is finally gaining weight, and this is priceless to me =).

We adopted our border collie, Molly from the local humane society. You'd think given her past she would eat anything. Well, that was not the case. We have tried over 50 brands of dog food with no luck - until we found this gem. Molly eats this!!!!! Need I say more? Thank you, Dogswell for such a great, healthy product!
