FRUITBITE RABBIT FOOD 2LB - 2 Pound Review

FRUITBITE RABBIT FOOD 2LB - 2 Pound

My rabbit goes NUTS for this food! I only give it to him as a treat & he loves it! He is a house rabbit so gets to come out of his cage and run around. If I have trouble getting him back in his cage, I know all I have to do is shake the bag of treat food and he runs right in!

Our Pets Go Cat Go Play-N-Treat Twin Pack Review

Our Pets Go Cat Go Play-N-Treat Twin Pack
Average Reviews:

Once our kitty figured this one out, it would keep him happily entertained for 20-30 minutes. Dispensing is affected by the type of cat kibble put inside - small round pellets work best. Larger or "X" shaped pellets will tend to clog in the opening. [...]

Hill's Science Diet Adult Small & Toy Breed Dry Dog Food - 4.5-Pound Bag Review

Hill's Science Diet Adult Small and Toy Breed Dry Dog Food - 4.5-Pound Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I feed Hills Science diet to my pet because I love him and the vet tells me I should. But in all honesty, this product has what is quite certainly the worst snap-lock reseal that I have ever encountered. It is painfully difficult to get it to close properly; and even when it is resealed as best it can be there are still gaps on the side that allow air in to oxidize the product.
Packaging IS important. It is no better for your pet to live on stale, oxidized food than it would be for you. Oxidized fats are also called rancid. If you imagine how healthy a rancid diet is for a human... well, you get the idea. This is about more than just inconvenience.
I am posting this review for all the Hills Science diet products with this kind of packaging. If you have had the same experience as me with this product, please take the time to let this company know about it.
I love my animal. I want to keep feeding him what the vet tells me is good for him. But this quite literally the worst reseal that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.
Theo.

Nina Ottosson Interactive Dog Puzzle Toy - Dizzy Review

Nina Ottosson Interactive Dog Puzzle Toy - Dizzy

My dogs constantly use this treat-dispensing toy. It is not too difficult to get treats out, but on the other hand, only a few treats come out at a time. so the dogs are kept busy for a while.
From the person's point of view, it is not too time consuming to get the treats into the ball.

KONG Genius Leo Dog Toy, Colors vary Review

KONG Genius Leo Dog Toy, Colors vary
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I understand that all dog toys are not indestructible, but Kong does a pretty good job of making sure it isn't. HOWEVER, I own a 6 month old German Shepherd and he loves his Kongs. I got him this one, along with the one it connects to to change things up a bit. He disconnected them and chomped down on the tube at the top that connects to the other Kongs. This part is the weakest of the whole thing, and in addition, is the weakest Kong I've ever seen. It's weak enough to easily be torn apart by dog teeth, but not weak enough that they can swallow a piece and pass it through their system. Our little guy suffered through the weekend because the vet couldn't do the surgery to get it out until he was stabilized and then they were closed on Sunday even after he was finally stable for surgery. My point being, this wouldn't have happened if this toy was as strong as all the other Kongs. I was watching him when he broke it apart, so even that tagline of "supervised play only" doesn't mean you'll be able to save him if he's too quick.

Booda Soft Bite Dog Toys Review

Booda Soft Bite Dog Toys

My German shepherd dog can't live without her Booda Soft Bite Dog Toys - she carries one around with her almost always! She has a basket full of toys but the hamburger is the only one she wants to play with.
I buy replacement squeakers on-line and when one stops squeaking, I open a seam and put a new one in and a few stitches later, it's like new. I also run the toys through the washing machine when they get dirty or stiff (LOL)... These are pretty durable and last longer than most toys she has had!

We gave this to our leagle (lab/beagle mix) and she loved it. It bounces erratically and is fun to chase. The ridges also make it fun to chew. Unfortunately, with in 15 minutes of gnawing, she was able to start removing tiny pieces of rubber. Normally, Kongs (unlike many other toys) prove indestructible to her . . . not this one. Great toy if your dog is not a strong chewer.

Nina Ottosson Dog Turbo dog puzzle game Review

The puzzle toys usually go over great in our household, but this one is just too difficult to figure out so far for my Shepherd and Ridgeback. The Shepherd usually catches on pretty quickly, but he doesn't understand that he has to pull the little knobs toward himself to get the treat. Maybe if the knobs were larger, he'd have an easier time of it, but as it is, he just continues to smack the toy ineffectually and chew at the hole where the treat drops out.

Nina Ottosson Dog Brick Dog Puzzle Game Review

Fantastic dog toy, you can make it hard or easy, don't slide the covers closed all the way at first, and after your dog gets it there it a small bowl shaped piece you put upside down between the sliders so the dog has to lift it (another spot for a treat), then slide the covers to get the rest of the treats.
I found that lifting the bowl and sliding the first slider was a good challenge for my terrier, but the cover on one side has to be slid the opposite direction as the slider on the other side, and that took her quite a bit longer to understand. Many many hours of enjoyment, and keeping her thinking and challenged keeps her out of trouble.
