I give her a kong filled with treats each morning and often when I get home that she is still working on getting the stuff out. Any toy that keeps this chewing machine occupied for that long is worth its weight in gold!

Everlasting Fun Ball Review

(More customer reviews)My pup DESTROYS his toys. No plush toys or rope toys for this boy because he dismantles them within minutes. I've had to resort to black Kongs and Aggressive Chews for Big Dogs from Nylabone. He doesn't especially like those hard chews... So, I decided to give this Everlasting Fun Ball a try.
He got this Triple Crown Everlasting Fun Ball at Xmas and he has eaten several meals from it. It keeps him busy rolling it around until the kibbles fall out. He gnaws and chews at it. He bats and rolls it. He plays fetch with it. It has only been a week and a half, but the fact that he hasn't punctured it or broken off a piece is AMAZING to me after seeing him ruin other toys designed for aggressive chewers within minutes.
I just pulled out a ruler and this toy is, in fact, 4" in diameter. My 8 month old lab/chessie mix pup is already 75# -- he's going to be a big dog. This toy isn't a choking hazard for him at this time.
The everlasting treats come out pretty easily from this size ball, but he enjoys them. The everlocking treats fit the fun ball in a very clever manner; however, my pup was able to chew that up pretty quickly (as quickly as the Nylabone edibles) so I thought those were a little expensive for what it is. They'd probably last a lot longer for a dog that isn't such an aggressive chewer.
This squishy ball has brought him a lot of play time and kept him busy so I'm really pleased with it and would recommend it. As a matter of fact, I'm buying a second one for outdoors/pool time since I see it floats.

(More customer reviews)We gave this to our leagle (lab/beagle mix) and she loved it. It bounces erratically and is fun to chase. The ridges also make it fun to chew. Unfortunately, with in 15 minutes of gnawing, she was able to start removing tiny pieces of rubber. Normally, Kongs (unlike many other toys) prove indestructible to her . . . not this one. Great toy if your dog is not a strong chewer.

I decided to purchase a few of the other XTreme products manufactured by Kong, hoping they would be as long-lasting. This product, the "XTreme Goodie Bone" was a big disappointment as it was chewed up in a matter of minutes by my dog. I would definitely NOT recommend this "Goodie Bone" to any pet owner that has an aggressive chewer.

(More customer reviews)I've become a pretty big fan of Starmark products and since our dog doesn't have ENOUGH toys, I bought this one for him at the store on sale one day.
PROS:
You can put just about anything in it, especially regular kibble, and it holds much more than the Bento ball.
Much quieter than his Kibble Nibble (which he absolutely LOVES). He can play and eat his dinner and we can enjoy a quiet, busy dog and a movie.
It takes him much longer to get food out than his other treat dispensing toys (Bento ball, Kibble Nibble and Kong).
Not as expensive as the other Everlasting toys and is more versatile as I don't have to exclusively use Starmark's expensive treats.
You can still use Starkmark's Everlasting interlocking treats for more long lasting fun and appeal.
CONS:
More difficult than some other toys to fill with treats but still fairly easy. You have to squeeze it just right and slowly let the kibble fall in.
It is a bit of a challenge for him to get the treats to fall out. (He plays with his toys mostly with his feet rather than his mouth) This could be because of the size of his kibble. He has not become frustrated with it and quit playing with it altogether yet so this isn't too much of a con. He does stop after awhile but comes back to it later. The longer he is busy and the more worn out he gets playing, the better!
When given the option of all his toys in his basket, this is not the one that Dexter grabs. I have to put up is other toys to make him play with this one. He does seem to enjoy it but it's not his favorite by far. (That's why I gave it 4/5 stars)
I think this a good value for the money but if your dog has really large kibble and he prefers to roll his toys around rather then gnaw on them, this wouldn't be a good feeding toy but still fun for smaller treats. It's also very bouncy for regular fetching.

Hartz H-Chew O Large, Colors Vary Review

(More customer reviews)My Rottweiler-Beagle mix (I know, odd combo) literally destroys every ball that comes into our yard, as well as any chew toy I bring home to him. Even those labeled as indestructable are mincemeat when he gets a hold of them.
And then I happened upon the aqua bone. Labled as hard to destruct, I thought, yeah, right... well it is nearly a year later and the only signs of wear are some of the little nubs missing from the bone. It keeps him busy and most importantly, when he wants to play fetch, it's large enought that it doesn't get all slobbery. I have yet to try this with water - but it would surely be an outdoor toy in that case. One thing I have noticed is that Kirby seems to have less tartar and fresher breath which I attribute to this toy. Now if I could just get old pewy breathed Max to like chewing toys...
I cannot say enough about these bones - they are a life saver to anyone who has a busy body or chewer. But whoever measured this and came up with a length of nine inches must have been an insecure man; it's more like five.
