Natures Promise Guinea Pig Food 20lb Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Don't listen to the pet stores: Alfalfa kills pigs young. This food is alfalfa-free, and in addition, it's free of soy. Soy is hard to digest, so it's great that this food doesn't have it. I ran a small-animal rescue for several years, and this food solved several pigs' health problems (long-term hair loss being the big one). I definitely recommend this food.

FRUITBITE RABBIT FOOD 2LB - 2 Pound Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My rabbit goes NUTS for this food! I only give it to him as a treat & he loves it! He is a house rabbit so gets to come out of his cage and run around. If I have trouble getting him back in his cage, I know all I have to do is shake the bag of treat food and he runs right in!

Natures Promise Guinea Pig Food 5lb Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the best food out there. It's got no alfalfa (which kills grown pigs) and it's got no soy (which is hard to digest). It's also a stabilized source of vitamin C. Buy this food--nothing else.

Oxbow Daily C Chewable Vitamin Supplement For Small Animals Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I saw the two existing one-star reviews and ordered a bottle anyway, hoping my pigs would be the exceptions. Unfortunately the two previous reviewers were spot-on. My guinea pigs come running when they hear the bottle rattle, thinking they're getting the former version, GTN-50C, then I offer them the new Oxbow Daily C. They take the tablets, then spit them out immediately, and look at me with such a look of disappointment and betrayal!
10 minutes later, I look back in the cage, and the tablets are still there, untouched.
Oxbow did a huge disservice in reformulating a well-liked product, their GTN-50C. Unfortunately we're most of the way through our last jar of the older version, and now are trying to figure out what to do once it's gone. BOO OXBOW!!!
October 2009 update: I'm bumping my rating up to two stars because after 3 months of trying, *some* of my animals have learned to like the new variety. One, however, still won't touch it. Why do companies insist on ruining good products by "improving" them???

Super Pet Paw-Print PetWare Bowl, Guinea Pig, Colors Vary Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've found that ceramic bowls work best for guinea pigs because they tend to like to stand on the rim while they eat and if the guinea pig is heavy, this causes the plastic bowls to tip over easily. This one has a nice soft rim that will be comfortable on little cavy feet! Also, guinea pigs eat a lot of pellets during the day and this is a good sized bowl. You can ensure there will be plenty of food available to them but you won't have to fill it all the way so spills/messes will be less likely.

Super Pet Small Animal Gravity Bin Feeder with Bracket, Colors Vary Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It screwed on nice and tight to the cage, Bunbury the Rabbit pulled it off. I used a nontoxic glue...and he chewed through the exact right spot to get it off and dump the whole thing all over the cage. Maybe I just need a dumber rabbit :-)
To address what appears to be comments on size, it holds enough food for it to still be fresh food. I wouldn't want for it to feed my rabbit for two weeks because the food at the bottom would always be stale.
This product didn't make any promises it couldn't keep, it was simply not what I was hoping for.
