(More customer reviews)We have a boxer puppy. Hes small now, but it won't take long for him to get bigger. We needed bowls big enough for him. Most places I looked only had bowls for small dogs, like for yorkies. These are nice, the rubber slip bottom prevents the bowls from sliding around the floor when our boy is chowin down, and they hold a good amount of food. They look pretty nice too.

Skid Stop Slow Feed Bowl - Medium (Color May Vary) Review

(More customer reviews)Pugs are notoriously fast eaters. My youngest pug has choked on his food twice because a) he eats so fast and b) he doesn't bother to chew. This bowl doesn't solve the chewing issue, but it has certainly slowed him down.
I only gave 4 stars because I think the bowl with the knobs would be better suited for pugs. It's a little too hard for him to get to his food due to the dividers. I think this bowl works better for dogs with actual snouts.
My pug would probably give it 1 star. He is not too happy with this bowl. Every time I set it down in front of him, he looks at me like, "Seriously? We're still doing this?" But at least there's no more worries about him choking! (Until he figures out how to turn it over)

(More customer reviews)I have tried a lot of different portable dog bowls because I have a service dog who goes everywhere with me and this one is definitely the best. I've had the ones that are bags and those are just not good. They are SO hard to clean because the dog's spit and any water gets in all the crevices and it gets smelly very quickly. I've had one that was kind of wallet0-like and folds flat, which was great for food but if you wanted to put water in it and weren't able to dry it completely it got moldy easily. This bowl is great. It is silicone so it's smooth inside which makes it easy to clean and since most of it is exposed all the time it dries on its own and doesn't get moldy or smelly. Plus it barely takes up any space in my backpack.

(More customer reviews)I have three of these Store-N-Feed units and we just love them for our Greyhounds. I've NEVER had water or moisture get inside where the kibble is stored. The units are perfect for traveling too. The weight of the kibble keeps them from moving around. Yes, moisture can get under the stainless steel bowls and, if there is a bit of kibble there, it can get icky, but it's easy to clean and this shouldn't be a problem for most people. I recommend these units without reservation.

The only problems that I have with them is that if I fully lock the crock in the holder, it is very difficult to unlock. It is also sometimes a challenge to get the crock to seat in the holder. That being said, this is definitely a helpful product and definitely worth the cost.

(More customer reviews)The neater feeder totally eliminates the need for 'catch' towels and other devices for my two 90 lb. plus dogs. German Shepherd and Golden Retriever, both messy drinkers. To overcome the tiny metal 'water' bowl, I went to the local Care a Lot pet store and bought two stainless steel one gallon buckets. The buckets fit in the same holes and keep enough water for the day. I have two of the feeders, one for each dog. A water bucket and the small 'made to fit the unit feeder bowl' are both used, one per unit, so each dog has his own feeder station. I cleaned up water off the floor for YEARS. Glad I found my neater feeder one day on QVC. I recommend it to anyone with a large dog, but the water bowl is not enough for my dogs, so the stainless steel one gallon bucket from Care A lot pet store does the trick. The feeder is easy to clean and easy to use. I have the cranberry color for both dogs. What I really like is no more water and food on the floor.

I stumbled upon this and almost didn't buy it. I am so glad that I did. It takes him much longer to get through his meal (I put his morning wet food in it) and he doesn't burp like he does when gobbling down his meals from the bowl. Easy to clean. Well made. It is plastic, which is fine for me. Great toy. I plan on buying more like this.

(More customer reviews)I bought the DogPause bowl for my lab a couple of years ago as he kept throwing up almost every meal that he ate. I tried the whole rock in a bowl thing as well as the tennis ball, neither of which seemed like a great long term solution. The one concern I had about this bowl was that it's made of plastic but we did our research and this bowl is made of a high quality (bpa free) food safe plastic. We've had our bowl for about two years now and are about to order another one as the first one is starting to show its age a bit. Anyway, five stars for DogPause.

Loving Pets Murano Blue Stainless Steel Bella Bowl Review

We normally use it (I mean, our dog, Jonah, uses it) inside with the mat, but in nice weather we set one outside for water-it doesn't slide around on the deck like our last one. The slanted sides keep him from picking it up and playing with it. All the available colors are fun, but we chose the gray and green bowls with the blue mat.

Durapet Premium Stainless Steel Slow-Feed Bowl for Dogs and Cats Review

(More customer reviews)I just bought two of the 5 cup bowels from Dr.s Foster & Smith and they are great! They are of solid build, excellent rubber traction and dishwasher safe (although it's easier to quickly wash rather than take up valuable real estate in the dishwasher). We just picked up two 9 week old Newfoundlands (large breed) last week and can see how they have to navigate around the whole bunt cake style bowl, which should keep wolfing their food down to a minimum, as best as can be expected. This is quite important to us as one of our last beloved Newfies died from bloating a year and a half ago (the other who had been his shadow was never the same afterwards and died of kidney and other complications several months later). We had looked at some of the other bowls that had the large nubs protruding up from the bottom, and while the design looked good for dogs with slim snouts, I feel a big faced Newfie would have a frustrating time of it getting in there. I highly recommend this product, even just as a good solid feeding bowl! Jody Koval
