(More customer reviews)Purchased 3 of these to replace ceramic bowls our 3 goldens have been using. It's hard to tell from the photo on the product web page, but, these bowls have an angled top in which one side is much higher then the other opposite side of bowl. This design is probably to prevent your pet from pushing food to the back of bowl (low side faces them when eating) and over the top of back, but, at about 3 quarts capacity, the food doesn't come up that far on these anyway to cause this problem or be any concern. Due to the design of these, they have limited to no benefit as a water bowl since they can't hold a high level of water. We returned them unfortunately. 5 star rating for a very solid, heavy SS construction and they will last a very long time, but, 3 stars for impractical and the un-necessary way they are designed. Average rating = 4 stars.

Indipets Stainless Steel Extra Heavy Duty Pet Bowl Review

I bought two of them here at Amazon a week or two ago.
Mine are polished to a mirror finish both inside the bowls and on the outside too.
And I was happy to see that.
These bowls are nice and heavy.
I know from experience that heavy stainless-steel bowls are tip-proof when used for water, at least for kitties.
I had already read in customer reviews about the labels being glued very securely to the inside of these stainless steel pet bowls.
And that the labels were hard to remove.
After placing my order and while the order was in transit, I got on the web and looked for easy ways to remove such labels.
I saw two methods that looked good to me -
WD-40 or vinegar.
When my two stainless steel pet bowls arrived, I used vinegar.
I poured in a little bit of white vinegar into each bowl and let it soak overnight.
Then those labels came right off.

Indipets Stainless Steel Anti Ant No skid Dish Review

(More customer reviews)Sadly, this product has not really worked for me. I have had a terrible problem with ants getting into my cat's food that is on my porch. I previously utilized a moat method for keeping ants out. It worked really well, but I got annoyed with the smell and having to change the water so frequently. I bought this product specifically because it is a moat free bowl. I set it out in the morning with dry food in it, and it appeared to be working. The ants swarmed the little bits of food that fell out of the bowl, but never made it into the bowl. By midday, I noticed three ants had found their way into the bowl, which seemed like no big deal compared to the previous swarms I would get. By nightfall, however, I had lines of ants happily marching into the bowl. The design is supposed to deter ants since it initially navigates them away from the food source, but I guess my ants were just too smart (or hungry) because they were not deterred. I hate to see how many will be in there by morning. This product is definitely a let-down.

(More customer reviews)All you need to do is read the ingredients, and the review writes itself. First ingredient: chicken meal (lower quality "rendered" chicken), next three ingredients: rice, corn, corn. So in other words, this cat food is mainly made from mostly grain and some lower quality meat. You don't find the ingredient "chicken" until the 7th ingredient. C'mon people, you are smarter than to fall for that. Compare that to any of the legit brands like Wellness, Buffalo Blue, Eukanuba etc., that have meat as the *first* ingredient and far less grain.
