6" Bully Sticks Select 100 pieces Odor Free Sealed Review

6 Bully Sticks Select 100 pieces Odor Free Sealed

This product shipped quickly which was the highlight of this experience.
When I opened the shipping box, I found a zip lock plastic bag with all of the sticks contained loosely within. There was no labeling at all on the bag or in the box. If you are like me you like to know the product information especially country of origin, preparation method, and manufacturer. The HPD information states that these sticks come from free-roaming bulls, but, who knows what I received. The smell of the product is sickly sweet and fairly pungent.
What was most disappointing though was the size of the sticks. An average size is about 1/2 inch in parameter. Many are around 1/4 inch. Only a few are close to 1 inch.
My cocker spaniel plowed through one of these sticks in about five minutes. Hardly the distraction that I intended.
Typically I purchase Cadet 12" bully sticks, cutting them down to 4 inch sticks. Cadet sticks are wide, have very little smell and contain product information. My dog takes about 30 minutes with these. Going forward I will order the Cadets.

Merrick ''The Sarge'' Dog Bone Review

Merrick ''The Sarge'' Dog Bone
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've bought a couple of these for my Airedale puppy who constantly wants to chew. These things are amazing in that they have bone, tendon, meat, and knuckles still attached. She dives in and tears it apart - she would work on it non-stop if I didn't periodically take it away from her. The meat and tendons are harmless enough - obviously they have fat and protein so they have to be tied into diet considerations, and the bone appears to hold onto the flavor long after it's stripped (she still licks and gnaws on a bone that's a few weeks bare). The knuckles, once they get torn off, should probably be thrown away after a few minutes because they are small enough to be swallowed and/or choked on. The only downside to this product is when she comes up to me and the whiskers around her mouth are a little discolored and she smells like roasted meat. But, well worth it if you want to give your dog a treat that they can't get enough of.

KONG Extreme Goodie Bone Dog Toy, Medium, Black Review

KONG Extreme Goodie Bone Dog Toy, Medium, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought an XTreme Kong long ago & it is the only dog toy that has withstood the powerful jaws of my dog - an XTreme chewer! I decided to purchase a few of the other XTreme products manufactured by Kong, hoping they would be as long-lasting. This product, the "XTreme Goodie Bone" was a big disappointment as it was chewed up in a matter of minutes by my dog. I would definitely NOT recommend this "Goodie Bone" to any pet owner that has an aggressive chewer.

I used to order the small ones for my chihuahua, but now she can demolish those in a day. This medium sized one lasts her longer and she ends up chewing on the little pieces she has left over for weeks. I imagine they must taste good because she sure does go at them!

Hartz H-Chew O Large, Colors Vary Review

Hartz H-Chew O Large, Colors Vary
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My Rottweiler-Beagle mix (I know, odd combo) literally destroys every ball that comes into our yard, as well as any chew toy I bring home to him. Even those labeled as indestructable are mincemeat when he gets a hold of them.
And then I happened upon the aqua bone. Labled as hard to destruct, I thought, yeah, right... well it is nearly a year later and the only signs of wear are some of the little nubs missing from the bone. It keeps him busy and most importantly, when he wants to play fetch, it's large enought that it doesn't get all slobbery. I have yet to try this with water - but it would surely be an outdoor toy in that case. One thing I have noticed is that Kirby seems to have less tartar and fresher breath which I attribute to this toy. Now if I could just get old pewy breathed Max to like chewing toys...
I cannot say enough about these bones - they are a life saver to anyone who has a busy body or chewer. But whoever measured this and came up with a length of nine inches must have been an insecure man; it's more like five.

Dingo Mini Bones 21-Pack Value Bag, 9-Ounce Review

Dingo Mini Bones 21-Pack Value Bag, 9-Ounce
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My three dogs go crazy over any Dingo product. However, they are expensive compared to other dog treats and after our dogs have chewed out the meat filling, they leave the rawhide cover on the floor and beg for another Dingo even though they haven't finished the first one. Pig Ears seem to be a better value for the money because the dogs eat the entire treat and end up spending more time exercising their teeth. I'll save the Dingos for very special occasions.

Busy Bone Chew Treats for Large Dogs, 7-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8) Review

Busy Bone Chew Treats for Large Dogs, 7-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8)

I bought one of these bones for my lab/shepard mix, 65 pound dog, and she loved it. I bought the first one from Petco and the large size was 8 dollars. Amazon is over 50% cheaper and there is free shipping. Before committing to 8 bones, you can do what I did and head on over to your local pet shop to see if they carry these bones and then see if your dog likes them. It takes my lab about 1 hour to eat the whole bone. I really like that it breaks into small pieces which eliminates my worries about my dog choking on a big piece of bone.

Busy Bone Ultimate Chew Treat for Large Dogs, 15-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8) Review

Busy Bone Ultimate Chew Treat for Large Dogs, 15-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8)
Average Reviews:

OK. I have two labs. Dog 1 preference order: People, Ball, Food. Dog 2 preference order: Food, People, Ball. The bone lasted 1 hour with Dog 1 and 20 minutes with Dog 2. This treat is not going to satiate or occupy most large, hungry dogs for as long as some reviewers suggest. Bottom line: If your dog is a food hound this is an expensive treat that doesn't last long and looks very much like fake food. It also broke into wet, sloppy bits everywhere. P.S. Both dogs are midsize (50-60 lbs).
