This is probably the best dog food you can buy at Petsmart. I'd say 95% of all the dog foods at Petsmart are garbage, but this food gets a 4 out of 6. I really like that it does not have corn. My pug loves this food and the kibble is a good size for him. I started out by feeding him Royal Canin puppy 33 and eventually switched him to Pug 25 once he was over 10 months, but I did not like that both had corn and the kibble seemed too big for his size. Since day one he's loved Blue Buffalo. I've heard of some dogs not eating the darker "life source bits", but my dog eats everything. No diarrhea or gas and his poop is firm every time. I'm glad I switched to this food. It is cheaper to buy it at Petsmart than online AND if you go to the Blue Buffalo website you can get a coupon for $5 off. Also, there is a good amount of protein in this food and works well. Other foods with super high amounts of protein can be too much for certain dogs. Large dogs that are super active would do well on super high protein and calories, but I have a pug and this food works awesome for him.

Puppy Dry Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe (6 lb) Review

Puppy Dry Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe (6 lb)

I have a 9 week-old Yorkie who was weaned onto Purina One Puppy. Once I brought her home, I started incorporating some ground meats (turkey, beef, pork) into her diet. Within a week, she refused to eat any dog food at all and would just play with her Purina pellets.
I knew she needed to work in something other than just an all-meat diet, especially at this age, so I went to the closest "natural pet food" place. The guy there bragged about how he studied 5 years of animal health and diet or something and recommended Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul. I gladly went home and mixed some in with her usual Purina One. To my surprise, Ruby actually hates it MORE than Purina One! When she's hungry enough to venture into dog-food-land (usually in the middle of the night), she would systematically pick out the Purina kibble to eat and spit out the Chicken Soup kibbles.
Yesterday, I went to my local Petsmart to pick up some Nature's Recipe Easy-to-Digest Chicken Meal, Rice and Barley Formula, which Ruby would eat whenever I drop her off at a friend's house for puppy-sitting (my friend owns her brother from the same litter). While I was there, the Blue Buffalo lady practically put back my bag of Nature's Recipe for me and forced me to try this brand instead. Since Ruby was doing her potty-wiggle in my arms, I didn't put up much of a fight with this lady and just bought all of the Blue Buffalo stuff she had picked out for me. I figured I could return it later after I did my research online if I didn't like the ingredients.
Well, to make long story short (which may be already too late for that), I put half Blue Buffalo and half Chicken Soup in Ruby's bowl this morning, and instead of her usual sniff-walkaway-whine routine whenever I put down dog food, she actually ate a good 1/4 oz of Blue! I know that doesn't sound like alot, but she only weighs 2lbs. Anyway, I'm pretty excited and will be putting up my 99%-full bag of Chicken Soup on Craigslist!

I heard many positive reviews about blue buffalo, so I gave it a try and my dog loves it. He licks the bowl clean. I also switch flavor from lamb to chicken, just to keep my dog interested. I do wish they sold beef flavor for my pup.

Holistic Select Radiant Adult Health, Anchovy, Sardine, and Salmon Dry Dog Food, 6-Pound Bag Review

We adopted our dog last summer and have tried various dog foods including the small breed formula from this same company. This is the one that our dog eats the best, and what comes out her other end is the easiest to deal with. No bad breath. Our dog scratches a lot and I was hoping this food would help that, but alas, no.
If you sign up at Holistic Select's website they will email you coupons. So far I got one for $5 and one for $3. I don't know how (or if) to use them on amazon so sometimes I buy locally.
This is small kibble suitable for small dogs. Don't know about big dogs. The pieces are flattish disks about 3/16" thick and 3/8" or so in diameter. They vary some.
