So I was thrilled to find Amazon had several products available.
How disappointing to receive the product and find that it was several months past the date stamped on the packaging. As a longtime Amazon shopper I was surprised...I have come to expect great delivery and quality product. I won't order the blue again from this source.

(More customer reviews)Our dogs love these peanut butter carrot trests. They are small and easy to break apart and chew. They work great as training treats. We have purchased Robbie Dawg treats in the reusable jars (cute gifts!) and reusable tins (these are great too for travel). This version of the product came in a box with a sealed inner plastic bag. Which is fine except the inner plastic sealed bag on the last two boxes we have purchases comes ripped open. All the treats fall out in the bottom of the box. I ended up transferring them to another container.
They do not contain wheat or any animal by-products. Very healthy dog treats and our dogs seem to love them!!

This is good news ! My dogs aren't real finicky, but they won't eat just anything and I want a good treat with no dyes or inferior products. The best of both worlds for us.
Happy tails swinging in the wind, and smiling faces...what more could I ask for ?

(More customer reviews)When I read the ingredients of these treats I thought for sure that my dogs would like these. I have 3 large breed dogs which usually love to eat just about anything. I have Rocky, a black and tan coonhound, Buddy, a blue heeler and a very large pit bull named Hutch. Rocky and Buddy have turned up their noses in disdain to these treats everytime I have offered them. The pit bull Hutch will eat them very grudgingly and even then he'll leave half of the treat on the ground, this is odd because, he'll eat just about anything including tree branches. So, I wouldn't pay the higher price for these treats, my dogs just don't like them.

I taught him a new trick with these tasty morsels, but he would not go after those spirits haunting the house. Even for 2 Scooby Snacks. He may not be able to solve mysteries, but he is able to tell a 5 star treat when he smells it. Wank woo!!

Not sure if this is available in a smaller size of cookie, but the bars seem larger than the heart shaped chicken cookie treats I have been buying. The lamb one does not upset my older English Cocker Spaniel who has a sensitive tummy, and isn't any more fattening either than the other cookie, but I do break each bar into two or three pieces to feed it to him. He can actually deal with the size just fine, tho this particular style is more appropriate for a large dog vs a middling size dog like him, but he counts the number of treats we give him and isn't happy until he gets three pieces :-) I feed him one bar broken into three pieces, while I feed him two to three of the little heart shape cookies(depends on how much food he's cadged from my toddlers that day) I totally trust the Newman's brand of dog food and have been happy with my baby's silky and healthy coat and no tummy upsets on the Newmans food or cookies. I wrote this review for a sample from the vine program, but this seems to be the exact same cookie, so I am repeating the review here.

(More customer reviews)If you want a training treat that will have your dog eager to learn, try cutting these rolls into small chunks. Given to dogs in small doses for good behavior, you will have them paying rapt attention to whatever you ask of them. And, because it's a balanced dog food you are not giving them an unhealthy snack.
I personally don't like highly nitrated "hot dog" pieces that many trainers recommend or many other commercial treats. Some I've tried that are "healthy" don't really excite my dog. I am concerned about what my dog eats, fortunately, he is pretty fussy,- so if you are too, your dog will most likely love this healthy treat and you can feel good about giving it to your dog. My dog also loves the Duck/Potato combo.
Keep some in a plastic bag in your pocket or pouch and reward your dog for their good behavior.

(More customer reviews)My dog Yogi is still a big chewer, he's a little over a year, but still wants to chew just about anything.
These chews are heavier and thicker than average chews including Pedigree Dental Sticks. As thick and heavy they may be to chew through, he goes through it in about three minutes, which is a long time for him. So far this chew outlasts the others.
My veterinarian approves this treat.
I am just glad my dog enjoys them and gets out some of his persistent chewing tendencies on them.
