(More customer reviews)Our dogs love this stuff and we keep it in the motorhome and on the boat to eliminate the bulk and waste of cans.
The only issue I have is that I can buy Old Roy from Walmart for 1/2 the price and it is the exact same prpduct.
That being said, the box is heavy and they do leave it at the top of my 23 steps to the house.

You sprinkle some sugar-detecting "confetti" in the litter box and check it each day for color change. In our Simba, we confirmed high blood sugar and immediately took her off her existing kibble diet (kibbles are generally high in carbohydrates as well as grain products such as flour and gluten that cats and dogs can't metabolize). (More customer reviews)Our two Standard Poodles have been on Purina One Rice and Lamb since we got them. We have had our male for 4 years and our female for over 8 years. We also had our last two Standard Poodles on Rice and Lamb for even longer. We originally put them on because we had studied all of the available foods and decided this was the best for their health and well being. A fantastic thing about the food is that it really reduces the volume of their feces to about 50% of other dry dog foods. We had both of our old poodles with us when we went full time in our RV for a little over two (2) years; reduced output was a real bonus when scooping all the time. Overall all four of our dogs were health and happy while on this food and had no problems with their skin or coats. A recent change was a new formula with the "Smartblend" which seems to have made our dogs eat the food even better. Both my wife and I believe that this food has helped to make our dogs healthier with the bonus of being easy to find as we travel. I can highly recommend this food. If you switch to it, remember to gradually introduce it while reducing the old food. Feeding all dry is the best way to help prevent dental problems also.

Not making the connection, I rushed her to the vet, only to find out it was red food dye. Perhaps this was a silly mistake, but I was extremely annoyed. My vet recommended never feeding these to her (or any other dog).

Pro Plan Giant Breed Adult Dog Food Review

(More customer reviews)I like using Amazon.com. It is convenient, wide-ranging, and often has very low prices.
HOWEVER,
When I checked for the above dog food on Amazon, it was priced at arpound $54...PLUS $20 SHIPPING = $74/34 lb bag.
My local Petsmart store sold me the ame size bag at $34.99!
Let's see...$35 or $74 ????? Hard to choose,I know, with only a 110% price diff, but I think you get the point.
AND... to Mr& Mrs Purina... WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE 40 & 50 pound bags? Prices/bag have increased but it is offset by smaller bags??? Oh yeah, I get it, just like Goldman Sachs is doing God's work, and AIG's survival is essential to the earth remaining in orbit!
PS: if anyone cares about my political views, I firmly believe the world (or at least the US, and hence goeth the world) would be a far better place if all those in Congress were replaced by Great Danes.
