(More customer reviews)My 14-year old dog suffers from stiffness from arthritis. I have tried many products to alleviate his discomfort & to help him maintain his best mobility. Cosequin DS appears to have really made a difference!!! He is able to get up & down more easily than with other supplements I have tried. His gait appears to be better & he appears have much less stiffness. At 14, he's not going to run around like a puppy, but I am very pleased with the results so far.

Closer to medicine than your average treat and much tastier than any pill, these yummy peanut butter-flavored biscuits help promote healthy hips and connective tissue using a proprietary blend of key nutrients. As dogs age, so do their joints, ligaments, and tendons, causing stiffness and pain and decreasing mobility. The use of glucosamine and similar agents can help prevent this process or relieve the pain that's already present. Each of Nutri-Vet's Hip and Joint Formula biscuits delivers 166 milligrams of glucosamine along with support factors like trace materials and Ester-C that aid glucosamine's healing action. The biscuits also contain a full complement of vitamins and minerals and meet all nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). They're even hard and crunchy to help clean teeth as dogs chew and freshen breath, too.

The drug has been helpful, but with the introduction of Nupro Joint Support, Monty is almost back to top form. He can play frisbee again without limping after a play session. He can also swim vigorously again. AND HE LOVES THE TASTE!! I mix it in with his dry food, and then moisten it all with warm water. It has a rich, meaty aroma. He gulpts it right down. His coat most certainly has a sheen to it again. This is a cost effect, and reliable product. I recommend it highly.

(More customer reviews)These chews were hardly soft enough for my senior chihuahuas to eat with their elderly part toothless mouths, but I put some water in the bag, ziplocked it shut and shook it up, let it sit overnight and the chews were much softer and easier to break up for them. If you have a small dog, you will have to do this because these "soft chews" are too dry and too hard to be chewed!!

My 13 year german shepard at first also was sceptical but ate it up quite fast. I was pretty surprised because hes a picky eater. I didnt notice a difference at first however after the first month of staying on the jointmax i began to notice a gradually increasing difference in his activeness and swagger. He moves around n plays with the other dogs now which actually drove him crazy before because they would run circles around him. Overall this product is pretty amazing and does the job.

Osteo Pet Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs Review

(More customer reviews)Recently my 9 year-old golden retriever began having problems standing on wood floors, his back paws would slide sideways and he would have trouble holding himself up or otherwise walking. This was especially true when he first woke up in the morning, his back legs seemed stiff and he also had trouble going down stairs. He did not have as much trouble on carpets or outside, but it was clear he was having some joint issues.
After doing some online research, I decided to give Osteo Pet Glucosamine Chondroitin for Dogs a try. This same basic formula is also made for humans, incidentally, with excellent results. Read around online and you'll see.
Well, it's only been a few weeks, but my dog's improvement is very noticeable. He no longer has trouble on wood floors, and he can get down the stairs like he used to. No hesitation, no limping, no trouble at all. He likes the bacon flavor of these tablets, which are somewhat large, and he gobbles them down as if they were a dog treat. No issues there whatsoever.
My only concern is that, because my dog weighs about 85 lbs., he needs to take 4 of these tabs every day (per the recommendation on the bottle). This is going to get expensive, but of course, I'd pay alot more to keep him healthy and active.
Bottom line is, this product seems to work very well, and I'm very glad my dog likes the taste of it so it's easy to get him to chew them up. If your dog is having joint issues as well, give this a try and perhaps your dog will respond like mine did. Good luck.
