He has allergies and has gotten a little plump so I was looking for high quality food with not a lot of unsafe 'filler' material. This food has a well balanced combination of good nutrition and 'taste'-for the dog, not me - as is evident by him devouring it without hesitation.
The kibble comes in a small size that is easy for my dog to eat. Unlike other foods that have a strong odor, this food is quite fragrant and does not give him bad breath of 'lamb' or 'fish breath'.
Since starting my dog on this food, his coat has looked healthier than it ever has. His stool frequency and consistency is more solid when compared to other foods with a higher protein content - he used to get runny stools. My dog is a happy and healthy dog. He does not hesitate to eat this food, when I serve it. The aroma is not as repulsive as other foods, which have a higher concentration of fish products or the lamb protein sources. Because of the fragrant aroma, my dog's breath is not bad.
