(More customer reviews)Two things I like most about this food: 1. the size is big, so my dog chews them instead of swallows; 2. It's one of the few beef formula around (the other being PURINA ONE or the expensive Orijen). The Orijen is like $80 for 35 pounds--almost $2/lb. I would prefer to supplement my dog with Orijen if it were not that expensive. But for a lower price, I can give her real fresh beef (3-4 ounces a day) with her kibbles, which is even better than the Orijen. It seems that my dog likes Nutro Max better than Blue Buffalo's chicken. Unfortunately, Blue's Wildness, Lamb, Fish&SweetPotato, ..., are not that attractive to my dog. She likes only the chicken--the way she eats can pretty much tells you how much she likes each: I sample each one and put in her bowl to see which one she is more excited about: it turns out that the PURINA and Nutro Max won--they are not even as expensive as the others by Blue and Orijen.
