(More customer reviews)Maybe my dog is just really picky (he is), but he snubbed his nose to the Cloud Star Trail Hound Endurance Fuel for Active Dog treats. These treats are touted as being packed with "active ingredients for active dogs," but don't worry - I think they are OK for lazier weekend warriors too. These treats contain the following ingredients (listed in order): ground whole oats, barley, ground potatoes, amaranth (pigweed! what's up with this weed being in the food?), rolled oats, sunflower hearts, apples, carrots, bananas, yogurt, flax seed, kelp (seaweed), beta-carotene, green tea extract, l-carnitine, mixed tocopherols (natural preservatives). While these ingredients are healthy and all natural, remember that dogs have a very, very low carbohydrate requirement, so even very active dogs don't need to carb-load. That said, if you have a non-picky dog, any dog might like these in moderation. I wasn't wow'd - nor was my dog (my true tester). One paw down for palatability.
