(More customer reviews)I've been feeding my two ferrets ZuPreem Premium for many years now. I've always been pleased with the results, but the new grain-free variety is really a cut above. After two months of the grain-free kibble, their coats are much softer than before (and it sounds strange but I SWEAR their eyes are more...twinkly, for lack of a better word). The oldest ferret is pushing 7 and had started to slow down lately, but he's become more active and playful on this diet.
With 42% protein, 18% fat, 2% fiber, and no corn or meat by-products, this really is one of the best dry foods on the market. It's a bit pricier than others of lesser quality, but the happiness and health of your ferrets is well worth the money.
And apparently it's DELICIOUS, as I've caught both my cats and my dog trying to sneak kibble between the bars of the ferret cage. Quite the recommendation, that :)
