I take frequent road trips with my lab and this makes packing so simple and easy. It has cut down on my prep time and ensures that I never forget a bowl or enough food. Makes loading and unloading the car a breeze too. I also throw in a ziplock bag with extra poop bags and treats so all of my dog's needs are in one compact container and ready to go whenever we are. A worthwhile purchase for sure.

Ethical Pet Products Stainless Steel No Tip Mirror Dish 16 Ounces -- 1 Dish Review

Ethical Pet Products Stainless Steel No Tip Mirror Dish 16 Ounces -- 1 Dish
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This bowl is indeed a non-spill. My yellow Labrador retriever had taken to carrying his old bowl around, Snoopy style. When I'd first fill it, he'd look at it, eat a mouthful or less, then intentionally tip it over and carry the bowl around for a while, spreading food far and wide in the process. It was funny the first 3 times.
So I bought this bowl. End of that problem!
It only took him about a week to tear off the rubber ring around the base. The rubber is there primarily to keep the bowl from flying around the eating area reminiscent of a food-filled hockey puck. Conveniently, that's not a problem I have with my dog, so I can deal without the rubber ring. If your dog plays hockey with his bowl, you'll want to keep looking. But if you're just trying to prevent easy tipping over, this bowl is perfect.
I definitely prefer metal bowls for my dog. They are so much easier to clean. So for me, this bowl is nearly perfect. Now, if I could just find one similar to my old ones, with rubber glued onto the bottom, but in this shape so he can't tip it over.

Our Pets Signature Series Review

Our Pets Signature Series
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a cat that has an intense fondness for flipping over her water dish. In fact, she is indiscriminate and will quickly make sure our other cat also has no drinking water. We switched to heavy ceramic bowls she couldn't flip and she switching to pushing them around the house until the water completely sloshed out. We tried mats and towels for friction and clean-up and before long, we were using up a lot of extra space and effort in our kitchen to create some sort of unattractive contraption just to keep the floor dry and our pets hydrated.
It was time for a food stand.
I bought this one pretty indifferently (criteria: it wasn't hideous and it wasn't expensive), but now I've grown to love it. In fact, I'm going to get a second for my other cat.
First off, it's just the right size for both me and my cats. The stand itself isn't tiny (it's not huge either), but the bowls are small (one pint). Standing at 4" off the ground, it's not too high for cats to easily feed out of. I can bring the bowls to the counter to fill with food and water, or simply lift up the whole stand. Either way works fine. It's small and pretty light-weight.
It isn't ugly looking, nor is it fancy enough to attract attention. The black and silver fits nicely with home decor in a simple, subtle way. I can leave this in my kitchen when company is over without feeling like a barbarian (the way I did before with bowls+towels+weights+water-repellent-mat+angry cat), but it's also safe enough to set over carpet if I wanted to.
The stand itself is plastic with little feets for better grip. The bowls are stainless steel, can easily be removed from the stand and are simple to wash. The top of the stand has a lip around it so if your cat manages to shove the entire stand hard enough (as some do), the water will slosh out onto the table and NOT your flooring. Even better, the lip of each bowl is slightly ramped so that any liquids knocked onto the top will stay there and not drip into the neighbouring bowl to create soggy food.
In short, I no longer have to worry about slipping in a pool of water and breaking my neck in my kitchen, my aquaphobic feline now has a how-do-I-beat-this-food-stand project to keep her occupied, and both of them now have drinking water, even if I've neglected to supervise their feeding area upon water refill.

Tri Stage Diner - 2 quart Review

Tri Stage Diner - 2 quart
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Our Akita loves this and we love it. Sturdy and steady, doesn't attract dust the way a wooden or plastic stand does, the dishes don't fall out because the lip is actually wider. We have two other dogs with similar stands but this one is our favorite because we know the dishes fit securely on the stand and are very easy to remove and set back into the stand.

Elevated Dish - Large - 30.4 ounce in Blue Review

Elevated Dish - Large - 30.4 ounce in Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have one golden retriever with an elevated food and water combo bowl set. I got a golden retriever puppy last year that now needed his own elevated dish. I wanted just a food dish as I they can both share the same water bowl. This works perfect. It is the correct height for him and he ate his first meal out of it tonight without having to either lay on the floor with his head in the bowl or bend way over. Good height, made well and decent price. Like also that the metal bowl comes out easy for washing. Thank you.

QT Dog Classic Stand Review

QT Dog Classic Stand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this to replace a more table style raised dish holder that was getting damaged from water and was a pain to keep clean. I got the 3-quart size and the dishes seem *huge* to me. I'm going to keep it, but I would get the 2-quart if I had it to do over. The larger size is nice for water, but laughable for my 70-pound dog's usual food serving which barely covers the bottom of the dish. The wrought iron scrollwork is attractive, but I left off a star because one of the legs was a bit bent. I also think that this product should cost much less for what it is.

Pet Food Storage and Server Review

Pet Food Storage and Server
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this item about two months ago for my aging golden retriever. The unit looks nice, and I liked being able to store stuff below. It was a little inconvenient to have to remove the dishes to get to the space, but fine nonetheless.
My dog isn't the neatest drinker, and water was sometimes dripped around the edges of the bowl. Unfortunately, this ended up dripping into the storage container below. The water became trapped, warping the bottom of the container and turning the stored dog food into mold. I definitely wouldn't purchase this again.

JW Pet Company icon Curve Elevated Feeder Dog Bowl, Medium/Large (Colors Vary) Review

JW Pet Company icon Curve Elevated Feeder Dog Bowl, Medium/Large (Colors Vary)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It was hard to tell from the picture or the description whether the bowls were plastic or metal, and I unfortunately assumed the latter, but was wrong. Plastic bowls are not great for most breeds of dogs, as they harbor bacteria, and obviously can be chewed, which can cause irritation and/or cuts and scrapes to the dogs face and mouth. Also, to keep my dogs from stealing each others' food, I feed them in their crates. From the dimensions I also assumed (I'll learn to stop assuming) that this feeder would fit comfortably in a large crate with plenty of room for my dog to eat. Because the design of this feeder is so round and wide, the "legs" are just slightly too wide for the tray in the bottom of the crate. This would probably be a decent feeder for someone who doesn't mind lots of plastic or that have a larger area for the feeder. It's definitely not compact or discreet, though it does seem to be sturdy for an all plastic product.

Spot Mediterranean Stainless Steel Double Diner Dog Dish Review

Spot Mediterranean Stainless Steel Double Diner Dog Dish
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Because the little dishes are so light weight, they "clinked" and "clanked" against the diner when my pug tried to eat out of them. This scared her and she jumped back from it. I cut off narrow strips of silver duct tape and taped them on the underside of the bowl rims. This felt like rubber padding under the rims. The bowls then sat "quietly" in place without "bouncing" around. I also got some rubber shelving stuff that I placed the diner on, like a placemat. This kept the diner in place, from sliding around. It all looks attractive now and is stabilized so that Priscilla eats and drinks out of it in comfort.

WETNoz Metro Duo High Elevated Pet Bowl Review

WETNoz Metro Duo High Elevated Pet Bowl
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I own a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the 4 inch bowl height is perfect for her. What amazes me about this bowl is that the designer could not possibly have used it. Notice how the stainless steel bowl is recessed in the plastic shell. Well, there is no easy way to get it out. You will end up digging your fingernails underneath the lip of the bowl just to get at it. Now picture the bowl full of water. Try to get the bowl out, and you'll have water spilling everywhere. Could have been a good dog bowl if it weren't for this design flaw.

EZ Store Raised Dog Bowl Review

EZ Store Raised Dog Bowl
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My dog tends to push her bowl over, around, and play games with it generally when she is hungry and wants to be fed. However, with this bowl, she can't do that. The base holds her canned food so the whole stays in place. The large bowl sinks into place so she can't grab it and bang it around. Easy to clean, easy to move, and absolutely perfect for eating at the right height for a 50 lb girl, I love this product!

Signature Housewares Dual Pet Bowl Stand Review

Signature Housewares Dual Pet Bowl Stand
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I chose my own pet dishes, which were really just a pair of nice regular sized dinner bowls. Like the kind anyone has in their kitchen (5 inches at top, tapers down into bowl shape from there).
I love the stand - it fits the bowls nicely and the feet don't budge when my messy kitties try to tip over the water or knock the food around. It doesn't stop them from spitting food all over the floor tho - oh well.
The stand is nice and clean; it looks well made and doesn't bend or stand off balance like something cheap. I think the value is there for the cost.
