(More customer reviews)The Suncast 18 Gallon Hopper Bin was purchased to be used as a recycling bin. Overall, it fulfills its purpose perfectly. The item is a little taller than what I expected, but is sturdy and easily stays in place. It has a good depth and width to it. The opening is a bit on the small side for my tastes. I would prefer the door/lid to be a little bit larger, but it's certainly not a sticking point. Good quality and put to good use.

(More customer reviews)We purchased these "24-Quart Clear Bins with Lids" to use for pet food storage. The bins are a good size, and are just right to hold the contents of a large bag of dog food. The bins seem reasonably sturdy, and nest inside each other when not in use (they stack with the lids in place). The lid is disappointing, however. First of all, the lids are a bit flimsy. They seem to be made out of a thinner gauge of plastic than the bins themselves. Secondly, the lids do not attach to the bins in any secure way. They merely rest on top of the bins. The same is true of the lift-flap at the front of the lids. This flap does not snap shut or close securely in any way -- it just sits there. One of the three lids we received appears to be a bit warped, and the flap leave about a quarter-inch gap on one side when closed.

I was looking for something to sort recycling, trash, and "food waste" in one place (my city does 3 trash bins outside for those categories), but this isn't practical. Oops.
