(More customer reviews)My sweet Golden Retriever is a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy. His appetite is pretty poor right now. He's abandoned his premium dry food that he's eaten all of his life and was eating some canned varieties, but I wanted to find a dry food that he could also tolerate. I found this food and figured that he might find it more appealing, considering the ingredients. I am relieved to find that he likes the food a great deal. After a week or so on this food, I offered him some of his former brand of dry food and he still wanted nothing to do with it, so I'm satisfied that he really is fond of this food and will continue with it as long as he's still around.
I'm giving him small portions in the morning and evening and then some canned food at lunch and it's worked for him so far. I am grateful I no longer have to beg him to eat!
I do recommend researching this and other foods before deciding what is right for your dog.
