Our 10 year old border collie who has always been sensitive to food started reacting badly to the kibble he's been on for years.
We went and slowly started him on one new premium food which he loved (42% protein) but his stomach didn't. After a week of diarrhea in the yard he was making no improvement so we switched again. Found the Spots Stew Salmon which seems to contain not only good ingredients but also the probiotics like Lactobacillus Acidophilus, which is the same stuff in your yogurts for digestive health. We're still in the 50/50 mix stage between his old food and this and he's improved dramatically.
While investigating this product I found bad reviews but quickly realized that these dog food fascists counted anything besides organic ribeye cooked medium rare for your pets was tantamount to murdering them. I figure dogs survived a hundred years of dog chow which was probably made with leftovers from the hot dog and scrapple factory, so pretty much all of the better foods that cut down on fillers like rice are a huge improvement.
