(More customer reviews)One big problem that always comes along with spring and summer are all the ants who magically find a way to the dishes of pet food. And once they find it, no matter how many times you move it, they seem to discover it again. This dish is perfect for keeping them out of the food and is the only one we've used that ever actually worked and wasn't a mess with things like water moats around the edges that always seem to get spilled.
This is the perfect size for cats or small to medium dogs. It's the first one that we've found that's stainless steel which is great because it's practically indestructible. We've used the plastic ones for a few years but they seem to get holes in the bottom after a while, probably because the plastic is thinnest at that part of the bowl. This one looks sturdy and I think it'll be around for a long time. I posted a couple photos of different views of this dish. I'm going to order more.
5/16/09 - I just ordered another bowl. These work great!
