I have three dogs, small (5 lb), medium (20 lb) and large (60 lb) and have the corresponding size bowl for each dog as well as an extra large communal water bowl. The bowls are very well made, heavy, sturdy and attractive. I bought my first Mason Cash bowl over 10 years ago and still use it today. I got turned on to this brand of bowl because I was in search of a ceramic bowl (not plastic or metal) due to one of my dogs allergies to plastic/metal. A defiite bonus is that these bowls are NOT "Made in China." I avoid products made in China due safety concerns (i.e. recalls) that seem to come with products made in China.
