(More customer reviews)My cat is a kibble addict, she is over weight and I have been trying to get her on a canned cat food. After a lot of research this is one of the foods that I picked for her to try. I have not done the math yet to see if this food is fairly priced for the dry matter content but that was something I had planed on calculating if my cat liked it. She did not like it, she ate it but I can tell she did not care for it because she would lick off the gravy and leave the rest. To solve this problem I puraide the cat food, adding extra water and she still did not eat all of it. I resorted to mixing in kibble to get her to finnish off the can.
The fact that my cat did not care for this food is not the reason I give it 4 stars. This cat food like many others contains useless fruits and vegetables that cats don't need and their reasoning for using them is probably to boost the protein count . My research (after finding a handy nutrition break down on cat info net) also showed that this cat food has a higher fat content then protein which sadly is an industry wide problem.
