She's around eight years old, so I didn't know if it would be hard for her to get used to something new (it comes with instructions on how to ease your cat into using it), but she got into it right away. It's adjustable, so you can make it harder or easier for kitty to get the treats out. She has fun with it, and now she can only eat one bite at a time. This is exactly what we needed.
