(More customer reviews)I was so happy to find this high quality food for our Abyssinians. They need the high level of protein, as they are very active cats. One of our three kitties seems to be allergic to nearly everything (all poultry - chicken, turkey, even duck though not as bad, grains, etc.). This food is one of the few brands that offers single protein sources (for instance, this is beef and does not contain any chicken, as many "beef" pet foods do), which helped us find a food to which our cat does not seem to be allergic. He no longer licks bald patches and isn't constantly vommitting. It's been tough to find a food that works for him and isn't too rich for his two little brothers. This has done the trick. The Instinct canned rabbit and venison are other flavors they enjoyed, but the beef has given us the best results. We supplement their diet with dry "Herring and Sweet Potato" so they can free feed on that throughout the day. Our kitties are healthy, happy, and have beautiful shiny coats. I fully recommend this product line.
