(More customer reviews)I dont know about you, but I have one of those dogs that inspects everything and will crack open any solid foods, spit them back out, then inspect the insides before choosing to eat it. He is picky as $%@*. Charlie (chihuahua) has eaten nothing but moist and meaty for over 7 years. The burger flavor and burger/cheese. I tried to give him regular dry food and played the "fine, just starve. you'll eat it eventually" game with him but that little bugger can be stubborn as heck. He sees the moist and meaty and comes a trottin. Sometimes we can mix dry food with moist and meaty but the ratio has to be 60% M&M to 40% whatever else you are trying to put in there. Now that he is getting old, we want to give him senior vitamins and he wont take them. We play jedi mind tricks on him (pretend to eat them and accidentally drop them, so he runs over and grabs it thinking he scored) but he still wont eat vitamins on further inspection.
I think what we need to do is to get senior-vitamin-fortified dry food and mix it in with M&M. The nice thing about this is that it is soft and breaks easily (we put it in a bowl and go through it with scissors to make the bits smaller, makes it easier for mixing with other foods). Its also individually packaged so it stays moist.
