I adopted a kitten from the local humane society. I took her straight from the shelter to the vet's office to have her checked out. As it turned out, she was riddled with coccidia and worms too. The worms were easy to get rid of; the medicine the vet prescribed took that out. The coccidia? Not so much. I gave her a ten-day antibiotic treatment starting the day I got her. I had to keep her quarantined and away from her own poop, etc. It was hard on all of us, especially her! When the ten days were over, I took her back, had her checked and she was "clean".
About a month after that, she started having the symptoms of it again: diarrhea, tummy gurgles, etc. Took her in and - sure enough - she had it again (or probably never got rid of it to begin with). I did go through with another ten-day round of antibiotics, something different than what she had had the first time. I then waited three days and started her on the Kocci-free. I gave this to her four times per day for twenty days. I also put her on kitten vitamins so that her immune system could strengthen up to better fight the parasite. It has all worked! I feel so confident now that she won't have a recurrence of it again in a month, like last time.
My baby seems to much healthier now and I fully give that credit to the Kocci-free. Amazing product! I can't say enough about it!
Just a note... I gave it to her twice in the morning and twice in the evening. I put the recommended four drops into a bit of black-eyed-pea "juice" and she just lapped it right up. In fact, she started begging for it about a week after we started it! It is so easy to administer. Great product!
