(More customer reviews)The bottom of the holder is metal covered by a water catching rubber oval. I purchased two feeders and both are now rusted and the metal is breaking off. Not safe for animal usage. If you care about metal shards in paws DO NOT BUY this "double diner"! The other reviewer noted that the product never stood a chance with water spilling and dog drool, however a pet product should be designed to withstand exactly that! Both of our feeders were indoor use only.
