(More customer reviews)I have cocker spaniels and I had envisioned this bowl to keep their ears from flopping in their food or water. The "opening" of the dish is not any different than any other dishes and their ears still get in to their food/water. This may be suitable for larger dogs - but did not work any differently for smaller long-ear dogs. Also - the black rubber "non-slip" band doesn't stay on. Can be easily fixed with glue though.
