(More customer reviews)My dog has short hair and has had a problem with skin rashes, hot spots, etc. I've had her to the vet on a couple of occasions and he would give her antibiotics and steroids which would eventually and temporarily clear it up. The outbreaks were becoming more frequent and I wanted a better solution so began looking online. I began working to boost her immune system with vitamins and I ordered this yucca extract figuring it wouldn't hurt--I add it to her food twice a day when she's having symptoms. I also purchased some sprays with natural ingrediants like yucca, aloe, etc to use topically. I believe the combination of these things has helped to promote quicker healing. When I see the beginnings of an outbreak I increase the yucca dose and it seems to reduce the spread and degree of the irritation.
