NEVER HAVE TO BEAT ICE BLOCKS OUT OF BOWLS ON THOSE COLD COLD MORNINGS AGAIN. THEY HAVE SOME TYPE OF THERMOSTAT TO CONTROL ON & OFF SO YOU DON'T USE POWER WHEN ABOVE FREEZING.EACH HOLDS A GOOD GALLON.I HAVE SEEN ICE FORM AROUND RIM, BUT THERE WAS PLENTY OF UN-FROZEN WATER FOR MY PET TO DRINK.
