(More customer reviews)I have been experiencing a roach problem with the onset of changes in weather.
This product is extremely fine --similar to flour. As you can imagine, it is very difficult to contain. I have wood floors and was unable to vacuum the loose powder and had to wipe over the area several times with a wet cloth to get it cleaned up.
I tried to mix the product with a little water to form a paste, and placed it in the cracks where the wall and floor meet. It's been two days since the application and I have since spotted two roaches who don't appear to be phased by my efforts.
Every website I've read has mentioned using the product as a dust (not necessarily mixing it with water). My only concern is my one year old who may try to eat it, or track it all over the house. I know its supposed to be very safe around children and pets --but the fact that it's so fine and can irritate lungs when inhaled, leaves me apprehensive about it getting kicked up into the air. I'm going to try applying it with a small paintbrush in the corners and crevices and hopefully that will produce better results.
